I ve been using Tognarelli for the last 4 years. Always do a great job friendly staff and very fair with pricing. Highly recommend!

Peter and his team are top-notch. He gave myself and a few neighbors quotes and approximate time for spring clean up, edging, mulching and a few other items. He was out here on time took care of everything his lead person was also very helpful in answering any questions. He came back himself to make sure everything was done right and has to just finish a couple small things. He does a wonderful job very thorough and professional and very good quality and price!! Will use him for anything that I ever need at my home!!

Good crew cares for my lawn and landscaping weekly. Recently, some bushes died and Pete was very responsive and prompt. Explained when best time to plant new bushes would be etc. When there was some miscommunication about plan, he jumped in to remedy right away. Gave some suggestions for replacements and kept to timeline I had given visitors arriving etc. The crew works hard and Pete always responsive, professional and always working to improve.

We had them in Spring to edge and mulch. They did a a great job and are competitive in price. We hired them this Fall for clean up and came home to a beautiful, neat and tidy yard. Again pricing is very fair. We will be hiring them again next year!

We had Tognarelli Lawn Care come do spring clean up. We had them trim our large bushes, edge the garden line, edge around a couple trees, and pick up leaves and sticks. After they finished, I was extremely disappointed in how my yard looked. It did not look ready for spring. There were many leaves still around the fence line, many sticks in the yard, the edging was just an indent in the yard with the grass/weeds still in the circle, and the large bushes were only trimmed on the sides, not the tops. They were our 2nd quote we received and double the price of the other quote. The only reason we went with Tognarelli was because it was family owned. We thought we were doing something good by helping the small businesses. Wish we wouldve went with the first option. Would have saved us money and our yard would have been ready for spring. I went outside a couple days later to finish their job.

Great company. I was ghosted by multiple other landscapers before finding Tognarelli.. Pete was responsive.. Texted me that same day and agreed to come by to take a look at my lawn that same week. We had them do some dethatching work as well as removal of ugly landscaping rocks from our front lawn. Pete and his crew were awesome. My wife had a question about landscape design and his crew took their time explaining the correct way of going about her project.. Good prices.. Great service.. Will be using them again.

Another great project completed by Tognarelli Lawn Care. Clearing out a huge section of weeds and brush, adding mulch and weed barriers, and building a rock wall to enclose another problem area. They are quick, professional, clean up after, and super nice to boot. My third project completed by them and veryhappy with all 3. Thank you!

The team from Tognarelli Lawn Care worked with us this past summer on a variety of yard work that we have been meaning to complete. First off they helped us freshen up the front of our house with new stone, new bushes, and some landscaping changes that were needed. Second, they worked to even out our backyard and reseed areas that had been eroded over time. Lastly, they took down our weathered deck that we had for over 20 years and replaced it with a beautiful paver patio that we have enjoyed for the remainder of the summer. Everyone at Tognarelli Lawn Care was great to work with and were not only responsive to our requests but also respectful of our property. I would highly recommend Tognarelli Lawn Care to anyone looking for landscaping help. They would be my first call in case I need anything done in the future!

Pete was very professional and responsive, answering all questions and coming out for the quote quickly. They came in and performed all services quickly and left no mess behind. We are very happy with the services provided.

(Jacqueline in Lake Villa) They did do a nice job on my lawn, however they parked across the street in my neighbors driveway, she came outside and asked them to move their vehicle and they yelled at my neighbor who is an elderly retired woman for asking them to move. She says that they told her to go f herself and they didnt want to stop the job to move the vehicle. They then blew leaves from my yard into her driveway which obviously upset her. I was not home at the time my neighbor informed me of the verbal altercation after I returned from work. This is the type of neighbor who has her son come over and plow our driveway when we get a lot of snow and has offered help if we need anything. She is kind to absolutely everyone. I called Tognarelli and asked them to explain what happened. They confirmed what my neighbor told me. I asked him why he parked in her driveway and his response was I didnt see any cars in the driveway so I assumed no one was home I asked him if this was normal which he replied it was not. He said he noticed there were signs for no street parking so he didnt know where to park I explained that he could have parked on the street all you need is a cone behind the vehicle when youre doing work in the neighborhood and if he wasnt sure he could have called me or knocked on the door as my boyfriend was home. Its common sense not to park on other peoples property. When I asked about the leaves blown into her driveway his response was well it was windy today He did not care about my concerns whatsoever on the phone I asked if there was anything he was going to do about this, offer my neighbor services, discount the work etc. He said no were not going to do that and said my neighbor can call him if she has an issue with him. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this company, I am appalled by the lack of care and common sense. I will not be calling this company again. Completely unprofessional and ignorant.

They were awesome! We had old landscaping timbers removed and replaced with boulders. They crew was professional and did an outstanding job including accent boulders. We are getting so many compliments from neighbors.

My wife and I just moved to Antioch, Il. from Massachusetts and the house we purchased required extensive landscaping at the property lines so that we could have a fence put up. I had called FOUR landscapers previously, and they either ghosted me or no call/no showed. Luckily thats when I came across Tognarelli on Google. Pete came out very soon after I had contacted him to do an estimate, was extremely professional and an all-around nice guy. The estimate was unbelievably reasonable for the work I needed done, and so I booked him. Funny story: my fence was supposed to be a month out from starting, and Pete scheduled us for a week from when he came out. Turns out the fence company was coming THE NEXT WEEK, so I asked Pete if there was any way he could expedite our service and he kindly obliged. His guys showed up not two days later (also two very kind gentlemen) and got to work - they were done EVERYTHING in a day, even worked through a rainstorm!! My experience with businesses in this state thus far has honestly been spotty at best (its like you people dont want money or something...), but Pete and the crew at Tognarelli Lawn Care have absolutely made it into my book to be called whenever I need something. Do yourself the favor and hire them.

Excellent results I had a small job of removing an old over grown flower bed and prepping the area for seed. They brought in new top soil and seeded and covered with straw mats. with-in 10 days I had grass!!!! The only thing that didnt go as planned was removal of and old childrens sand box. I brought it up and boom they came and removed it in no time. Thanks and I look forward to the next project with them. There will be more!!!!

My Son needed a one-time service, due to his mower needing repair. Getting a quote was very difficult until I contacted Tognarelli Lawn Care. We received a quick response, a very fair quote and fast service. The job was done well and everything looked spectacular. Just like good old-fashioned service should be. First order of business, Pete promptly called us back! Some places didn t bother. (Can you believe it?!) He came out the next day for an estimate for the landscaping we needed done. The estimate was prompt, and he and his crew came out when they said they would. They did a great job! We would hire Pete again in a heartbeat!

Owner Pete is conscientious and gets his team motivated to provide exemplary service. He is very responsive, listens and follows through to do what promised. So many lawn services out there that will mow your lawn, I wanted someone to care about it and overall landscaping. Found it here. They also removed bushes and trimmed trees. I also like ease of payment with online program that makes it automatic. I would suggest you meet with them. Good company
