They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Very responsive before, during, and after our landscaping service. Our side yard was completely overgrown with invasive weeds and they were able to clear everything out and plant seed in just one half day. We gained a huge section of our yard back and couldn’t be happier. Photos show before and after. Will definitely use them again in the future!
We've had Great Lakes Gardening do 2 jobs so far: remove and replace two wood retaining walls, and add about 4 inches of gravel to our very large driveway/turnaround. We couldn't be more pleased with them, from our first meeting for discussion and estimates, to completion of the projects. Drew and Maureen are very professional and highly skilled. It's their own business, which is evident in the level of responsibility and pride they take in the work they do, with full attention to all details, large and small. We are so glad we've found them, having dealt with less ethical and skilled contractors in the past (including the one who built the retaining walls we had to replace). We'll definitely be calling them for more jobs in the future!

Drew and Maureen installed the soft scape (trees, shrubs, and many perennials), hardscape (small paver patio, steppers, ledgestones) and buried a few downspouts in my new construction yard. I couldn t be happier with the outcome of this project, it turned out absolutely amazing! They delivered the installation exactly as specified in my landscape drawing. Drew was so easy to work with throughout the entire project - great communication and updates, started the project earlier than expected, and understood the key things that were important to us. He worked hard to obtain all of the exact varieties of plants I wanted as much as possible and he was very careful not to damage my yard with heavy machinery. This landscape project was seamless from beginning to end, I am so glad I found Great Lakes Gardening. I highly recommend them, and will be happy to use them again on any future projects.

Our experience with Great Lakes Gardening was second to none. They completed a retaining wall, bluestone patio (with a walkway), and full landscape ahead of schedule!
