I contacted multiple Landscaping companies and most of them didn't show or would show up but never sent a quote as they promised. KB Landscaping was true to their word. From showing up, fair price, and going above and beyond when doing the work! The owners and onsite team were very kind and respectful. Highly recommend KB Landscaping! They put in a patio, deck stairs, and landscaping for us this summer and did an excellent job with all three. They put the patio in within a couple of days, the stairs match the existing deck perfectly, and they did a great job planting trees, plants, and installing lighting. Not only was the workmanship great but also the experience of planning was exceptional. There was open communication throughout the whole process and they accommodated our many requests and modifications without cutting any corners. Could not be happier with how it turned out. We had a fantastic experience with KB Landscaping. They built an excellent deck for us, and made some proactive adjustments to improve draining along the way. They likewise went above and beyond to make our fence addition better and provided great advice for us to follow. The crew worked very hard and cleaned up well behind them. Incredibly pleased with the work KB Landscaping did for us!!! Our small backyard needed a full renovation and the team was able to come in, take out dead trees and level it, and install sod, make space for raised garden beds, build a patio extension off our deck, and put in a spot for a shed in 2.5 days. Fairly priced and quality backyard paving work. We reached out to many landscaping firms Kahala Brothers (KB Landscaping) was the only firm to reach back out to us so we would highlight their responsiveness compared to others. We don't have much to compare price estimates to but for us it cost $7000 for a 10x15 foot patio and a 3x4 landing in front of our shed. The paving work turned out really well and has made the back yard more inviting. The work in total took 3 days. As a callout, the paving work and the equipment brought in destroyed a large part of the lawn leaving large mud pits. This was not stressed in our purchasing process --- so for future buyers - we'd recommend negotiating lawn repair as part of the landscaping costs or at the very least recognize that paving work can significantly destroy lawn and be prepared to remedy the lawn following your paving work.
If I could give Kahala Brothers 10 stars, I would! Our experience with Kahala Brothers Landscaping was exceptional from the beginning. Naji started by coming to our house and listening to all of our requests, providing his own good ideas, and even drove us around the neighborhood so we could point out other landscaping that we liked to get a better idea of what we were looking for. After that, we had another appointment at the office where Naji personally reviewed the drawn-up design with us and allowed us to customize and make any tweaks. Once the design was set, the team got started on our new sod, patio with firepit, landscaping beds, front steps, and garbage can pad. Their communication throughout the whole project was wonderful. Every day, Aki provided us with the lowdown on what was accomplished, and what the next steps were. They were constantly checking their quality to make sure it they were providing us with the best final project. This team exceeded our expectations, and I really cannot recommend them highly enough. I appreciate all of Naji, Aki, and the whole crew's hard work. I highly recommend this team!!!
I cannot say enough positive things about KB Landscaping. I was referred to this company via my neighborhood's facebook group and it was one of several that I considered for landscaping my property for my newly constructed home. I ultimately went with KB because they were able to provide an on-site estimate that was fair, and we never felt pressured into particular options. Everything presented to us was just a suggestion and we felt free to make the final call on what we specifically wanted. Throughout the process, the responsiveness has been amazing and I definitely feel like we got our money's worth. The team that did the installation was professional, hard-working, and extremely communicative. Providing very thorough updates on the work that had been completed, what work remained, and what that timeline would look like. We even had a small snafu where we had accidentally had the wrong sprinkler system controller installed. The owner responded to my text about the issue within 5 minutes and by 9am the next morning the crew was there with the correct controller and switched it out in less than an hour. If you are looking for a professional, no-BS upselling landscaper for an upcoming project, I would recommend KB Landscaping without question.
I was recommended KB landscaping from a few of my neighbors whom they have done work for before. I have seen their work so I knew it would be good, but what they did was spectacular to say the least. I needed them to build a nice deck with an area for a fire pit. They went above and beyond, their work is super precise not one brick out of place. The deck genuinely seemed like it came out of a magazine. They finished it off with tons of beautiful flowers and shrubbery that is the cherry on top. Found this company on Google and read their reviews. Set up an appointment for a consultation and sent detailed information about what we needed done. A moderate patio removal and replacement and landscaping along the patio edge. I suggested several options that I would consider and open to their suggestions. I spoke with Nagee and he said that off the top the quote would be something astronomical. I indicated that the first option could be omitted. He did not offer other suggestions and seemed uninterested in our project. They sent me a quote for $30K+ and an email to say they weren t interested in our project. I stated that my budget was $10-15K, which is on the high end for what most of my neighbors have done. I do not know what their problem was or why they felt our project was out of their scope. Theirs was the 5th quote I received and NONE of the other contractors were as ridiculously expensive as this one. We just had a very extensive remodel last year and I am fully aware of what today s pricing is and labor requires. Our budget is fair and appropriate for the work we need done. Our space is very small and therefore did not warrant a $30K estimate. I am very disappointed that instead of contractors being honest, they inflate their prices and/or ghost people when they don t want to work for certain people or can t or don t want to do the job. I am a retired Realtor and still have clients with whom I still connect. I am also very well connected in my community and word of mouth is key. We are moving forward with a local company who took the time to explain everything and the scope of work to be done. They understand my vision and presented us with affordable options and I loved their ideas. This other company stated that for the space and scope of work we needed which is simple and straightforward, our budget was ideal. Of the 5 estimates, I think we ve made our decision. KB, I don t know what your issues are, but what you did was very unprofessional.
Naji,Aki and their team went above and beyond for our project (landscaping and concrete). They were on time, professional and very hardworking. They also were very friendly and respectful. I recommend this company for any project in the future. Thank you Kb team for what you all did.
We had a flower bed and sprinkler system installed. We also had a lawn restoration done. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, but Naji worked very hard to correct them. He clearly cares about his business and takes pride in the work they do.

Did a great job on our retaining wall last year. But communication was lacking. Second part of job not finished. Offered to come back first thing this year to finish but not a word. When contacted put off again.
We hired KB Landscaping for drainage issues we had on the property. They proved to be very professional and knowledgeable and did a great job straightening everything out. We are very pleased with the work they did and would strongly recommend this company: responded promptly to our concerns and were very communicative throughout the project.
KB landscaping is a very professional company. We had a large area of our backyard that we were not able to sod. It was overgrown with large weeds and a big project. They came in and cleared out the entire area in less then one day. They did a beautiful limestone retention wall, reshaped our beddings, added mulched, sodded large area in backyard, trimmed bushes and trees. Also clean up was very neat. This was done in two days! This company is diligent, hard workers, went above and beyond and the results are amazing!

Naji and his team were great from beginning to end! I cannot recommend this company enough. We have a new build home and had all of our irrigation, sod, and landscaping beds done with KB. The workers were friendly and arrived on time daily. When I noticed items I did not like, they were quick to accommodate my requests. Cant wait for next year when KB will build us an amazing patio!
This is the company to hire!! I highly recommend KB Landscaping! It was a pleasure to work with them. I made contact without a clear idea of how to deal with a horrible, broken, very old concrete patio. Naji came over and gave me great design ideas for a new brick patio and ways to improve the existing landscaping around it at a reasonable price. He said it would take about 3 days to do the work and I thought that was just salesmanship but the work was finished before the end of the 3rd day. The crew were friendly and incredibly efficient/hard-working and everything went according to plan. I really appreciated Najis communication throughout the process. From beginning to end everything went smoothly. The patio is gorgeous and I love my new landscaping!

Great service all around! After a meet and greet, we added my project on the schedule about two weeks out however, I received a call a couple days later indicating that they could get me in a week early. I was very excited. My project consisted of tilling, new sod, new mulch and adding six new bushes and plants. They came early and got it done in just a few hours. It looks beautiful! I love it. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone , at anytime for any job big or small. They are very reasonable in price and will get it done as quickly as possible. KB landscaping was excellent! They are a local company owned by a group of brothers and they are all extremely polite, competent, professional, and efficient. Our backyard was just a bare patch of dirt with weeds, and we wanted to put down sod. They came first to do a free estimation, and helped us to brainstorm and envision what we would like to do. Later they came back with the team to clear away the debris, dig a line around where the sod would go, bring fresh dirt to lay down and level the ground. Then they brought the sod and laid it down and cut it into the right shape and watered it. The whole thing was very fast and efficient, and everyone we dealt with was extremely polite and professional. The pricing of the job was reasonable, especially considering all of the hard work they did. They were also very flexible and willing to accommodate any suggestions we had during the process and answered all of our questions. I should also mention that they were very responsive and easy to get in touch with, which was a bonus when we were trying to get going on our landscaping quickly! I left them a message on their phone, and they called me back pretty quickly. It was a pleasure to work with KB, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with landscaping needs in the Ann Arbor area!
KB Landscaping completes an outstanding job at my home. The project began ahead of schedule and I really appreciated the fact that the company saved me money by cleaning up my existing stones and removed and replaced all the bushes according to the design that we agreed upon. I am also very pleased with the work completed in my backyard which included a new patio area that my grandchildren enjoy regularly! Thanks again for a complete outside makeover, it looks fantastic! We needed a culvert/driveway put in on a piece of property which we acquired so that we could have access to it. I made a phone call on a Monday, that following Saturday morning i snapped these pictures. Extremely professional, fairly priced, very clean work and on top of that they are a family owned business with great customer service!
