Garden Me Up - Landscape Gardeners in Ann Arbor

We were referred to Karen by another landscape designer, and we have been so happy to have her and her crew on board! They are very thorough and meticulous, and it is obvious they have a deep passion for what they do. Karen listens to what you need and offers recommendations as to what would work best based on your needs as well as what works for your yard. The cost is higher than we first expected, yes, but it’s hard work and it’s nice to know she pays her crew well. And Karen was willing to adjust the hours based on our budget. Overall we are very pleased with Garden Me Up. Highly recommend!

Garden Me Up has helped me fill the service gap between the weekly mower and large scale landscapers. They do my planting, pruning, cutting, trimming, weeding, clean-up etc. I hired them on a monthly recurring basis (spring - fall). So far, they helped with my fall gardening (cutting back plantings, trimming bushes/trees etc) and clean-up. Karen, the owner, is great and really listened to my needs and helped me with a plan. I can't wait for the spring when their services start back up.

Have used them for three years now and my yard has never looked better. Karen took the time to learn about my yard… how much sun does it get, what is the soil like. She listened to what I like and planted beautiful gardens for me. Having a gardener come is different than having a landscape company. A gardener is more concerned with taking care of what you have and what is going to work for you then just planting some things and leaving. I wanted to have beautiful gardens but I just don’t have the time or the knack for it. Garden Me Up was the answer to my prayer!

Karen did a great job with a bed installation on the side of our house. She was very helpful in terms of suggestions and overall layout. We'll be using Garden Me Up again for more projects. Thanks Karen!

Very pleased with our first experience with Garden me up--Karen helped me prioritize the things our yard needed to stay within our budget, and the work (and clean up!) was done beautifully. Our overgrown bushes and trees now look so tidy and planned--the difference is amazing. Will definitely use Garden Me Up's services again.

I can’t speak highly enough of the work of Garden Me Up. Karen has cared for our gardens for more than three years. She knows plants well, has an artist eye, is hard working and very nice to work with. She mainly kept our garden beds mulched, weed free, pruned and thriving. But she also addressed and completed projects in problem areas: a lovely stone pathway on a slippery slope, babied rhododendrons into health, and added new shrubs where needed . Best of all she was a joy to work with. She became a dear friend.

Karen and her team are the best! We were in way over our heads at our new house and Karen and her team helped us figure out a plan we were comfortable with and executed everything with professionalism and creativity! We are so happy with the outcome and can’t wait to see Karen again in the Spring.

Karen is an amazing person to work with. Timely, hard-working and knowledgeable. We hired to to trim the hedge add mulch , rock garden, and tree pruning, all done by her , very satisfied and I do recommend.
