Wouldn't use this company!!! Last year i dug out our front bed leaving a pile of mud we needed removing. Not a massive amount but too much for us to deal with. My partner messaged the company and we were delighted Joe could come so soon. He quoted us to remove the soil and pull away some of the other top soil from the other side of the bed. At the same time he said he could cut away some concrete and fit sleepers as a border and down the side of the path all for £1000, everything included in the price. After some deliberation and working out the most cost effective way forward we decided to go ahead as this was including purchasing and installing the sleepers. If it wasn't inclucding the sleepers, the job was an easy £500 over priced. On the day they removed the soil and scraped about an inch off. They then wanted payment, so my partner asked when were they going to fit the sleepers. It then turned into a back and forth with my partner, about them not being a part of the pricing! He removed £100 off the price for the miscommunication, offering to fit the sleepers another day for an additional £220. After insisting we pay an extra £220, he then said we needed to buy another sleeper, they will come back to fit the sleepers at a further cost of £80, now totalling £200 more than the original quote or £300 more then the £100 reduction price. They managed to break a paving slab and personally i feel they put the sleepers in too high, instead of asking they just acted, AGAIN "miscommunication" seems to be the moto of the company. The sleepers are too high and we now need to raise the ground level to directly under the brick vent. I tried to explain it needs to be one course below that. Joe insisted it doesn’t and I can bring my soil up to under it. You cant talk to the man with out him getting upset or irritated and although we have got the job done to a relative standard, I certainly wouldn't use them or even suggest for anyone to use them. Also do not question his pricing, he really doesn't like that!. A common repsonse for these types of companies that try to pull the wool over your eyes and over charge is its all a "misunderstanding" or "miscommunication", then switch the onus back onto the customer, when it was all clear as day to start off with.
Joe laid artificial lawn in our front garden and we couldn't be happier with the result. Communication and timekeeping was excellent too. Would highly recommend.
My back garden was looking very tired, and in need an extreme overhaul. Joe, Ronnie and Bon did an amazing job, and worked through some horrendous weather to make sure it was finished on time. The pictures really do speak for themselves, and we are more than happy with the excellent results that they achieved. Joe worked with us from original ideas, through any changes that were needed, he offered recommendations and tips to improve the garden throughout the process. Overall I thoroughly recommend Joe and his crew, and if your garden needs a total overhaul, and given a new lease of life, then look no further than Joe’s Rain or Shine Landscapes. Very rarely do I post reviews, on this occasion I truly believe Rain or Shine deserve my 5 ⭐️. I got in touch with Joe back in February for a quote as I knew any reputable landscaper would be very busy in the coming months, having decided to go with him we arranged a start date for July. Although my back garden was a small project for Joe to work on he gave what I believe to be 💯 commitment. I cannot fault him on his cheerfulness ,good humour and professionalism. From the very beginning of meeting Joe to him completing work on my back garden he advised me throughout on aspects someone only with his knowledge would have in landscaping , this turned out to be invaluable having never done anything myself like this before . Finally I want to thank those Joe has working for him, without them he could not complete jobs in a timely fashion as they did for me.They worked hard with so much enthusiasm and good humour, all of them should be proud on what they achieve for there customers. Although I paid for the service of Rain or Shine saying thank you for doing such a marvellous job costs me nothing . I would definitely recommend Rain or Shine.
Joe and his team did fantastic work on our blank canvas newbuild garden. He listened to what design I had in my head, provided advice in terms of the land we were working with, costs etc, and helped bring my ideas to life. During the process I thought of something additional to be done, and again Joe came up with great ideas and quickly adapted to what we wanted. Our garden is unrecognisable to how it was before Joe got his hands on it. It was clear Joe cared alot about his work, and at times I think he was fussier than me with getting things looking perfect! I felt Joe was very trustworthy, he worked hard and it was a enjoyable process having him and his team here for 1.5 weeks. Would certainly recommend and use Joe again in the future if we need more work done. Thank you Joe and team!
Joe has just completed our garden renovation over two weeks. We had a new patio, raised bed and turf. We wanted to leave a review because we are delighted with his work. We were very surprised to see the previous review which appeared to paint Joe in a bad light as a rude and callous man. During the whole time Joe was with us he never once got angry or lost his temper or swore. He was the complete opposite. Calm and polite. The work undertaken by Joe was completed in a timely fashion and to the highest standards. There were minor issues that Joe resolved free of charge. The charges specified were kept to and in some cases reduced. Detritus and refuse were removed free of charge. We were very happy to pay the fee specified and do not understand how anybody could possibly say such a polite person as Joe was threatening and aggressive and rude. He has been an absolute delight to work with. We have further work at the front of the house and have engaged Joe to do this once we have funds in place. We cannot recommend Joe highly enough and his professional attitude to his work.

Cheating people with peoples money
Avoid at all Costs, promised so much...but never mentioned the unacceptable behaviour & attitude, that we would witness. After 2 weeks in, hubby noticed that the Work was not looking as ,promised by Joe...both in his Quote and drawing plan he provided. The Block Wall was meant to be flush with the artificial lawn. From the photos you can see clearly that it would not end that way. We asked Joe to make small amendments to rectify this...he refused. Not only refused, threatened to take us to court, was very abusive and mentioned he may take physical action against my hubby. He then threatened to Smash our property if we did not pay him, & he would stay on the property until we did!!. We paid him what he asked for...just to get this person off our property. We have never experienced such revolting behaviour from a so called Professional.
Joe Taglianetti of Rain or Shine Landscapes was recommended to us by a neighbour and we were not disappointed at taking the recommendation. Joes expertise and experience helped us to plan a new patio to replace wooden decking and a pergola. As we already had an old patio in situ we also wanted that to be repointed. After we agreed on the plan and materials we felt confident that Joe was the man for the job, subject to a negotiated price and a date for work to commence. Materials were delivered as per schedule and work began. The old decking was dismantled, along with the pergola, in an efficient and safe manner and ground preparation followed. Every step of the way Joe made certain we were satisfied with the work. He is friendly, approachable and flexible. We were pleased with the quality of the materials and the standard of workmanship. Would we employ Rain or Shine for any future work? If the price is right, we would!

Joe and his lads came out today to complete the job of digging up my side gate access to lower it,and finish of with stones to match my driveway. They turned up when they said they would, did a great job and were lovely and friendly throughout the day. Also topping up some of the sparse areas of stones on my driveway for me. Wouldnt hesitate to have them back or recommend to people.
Joe and the lads have done a fantastic job on our back garden. They were very polite and professional, and the work was completed on time and to an excellent standard. We were kept fully updated on the progress they were making and they made improvements to the layout of the area that will ensure its longevity. Cant recommend them enough. We had to have our driveway extended, and electric gte raised in order for it to opperate. Joe was so good at explaining the options, talked with us the whole way through. The results are a complete transformation of the are.
We requested quotes from 2 people and Joe was the only one to get back to us with a quote and a date to start the works. Was on time, professional and friendly. Got my vision quickly and I didnt have to remind him when he came back to do the garden of what I wanted. Im so impressed and love the job theyve done. Left my drive nice and clean and worked quickly. Finished the job in 3.5days. Would definitely recommend and get back in if we needed other stuff doing.
I don t often bother with writing reviews, but joe and his team deserve one, very informative was due to start our job on the 30th of October but due to an absolute shambles of a weather week a week later they garden was started, but joe was straight on the phone to tell me about pushing my jobs start date back, which I was more than happy to do! The work that has been done is absolutely amazing, the team have really opened my garden up, cannot wait for joe and his team to start phase 2 and 3, we phoned 5 different landscapers and Joe was the only one to come for a visit! But all in all 5 stars on everything, 100% recommend joe and the team! Thanks the winterton family

Hi We had work done by Joe last year . We paid him 3600 pounds in cash . This year 2 planks of decking had problems with them . One moved when you walked on it , and the other one had slight damage to it . Joe said they were fine , but if we paid for the replacement wood he would not charge us for labour . which seeing it was supposed to be under guarantee seemed a bit much . Needless to say we will not be using his firm again .
