Our house goes on the market in April and I wanted the large complicated yard to look its best. I contacted Alvarez Landscaping to help, and I was glad I did. Hector responded quickly, came over immediately, and provided a more than reasonable estimate for the extensive yard cleanup, edging, mulching and trimming scope. His team came out today and blasted through in 6hrs what usually takes me 4wks. Thanks AL, job well done. I recommend them highly.

This is my first time using Alvarez landscaping. Owners provided a quote for spring cleanup but did not provide adequate details about the actual service included in this clean up (and no additional information provided on their website). I expected them to pick up the leaves left over from the last season, which most garden services include in their spring clean. After they performed the spring clean-up I noticed that the garden looked almost the same (no removal of leaves). I was told by the owner that all they did was blow the leaves off the path and pick up some fallen sticks. He also cut the grass but this was not noticeable at all. A charge of $400 for this service was not worth it. I reached out to the owner to discuss possible resolution of my complaint, including the possibility to sign on for other garden projects in the future. He just stopped responding, so not very professional.

I hired Alvarez Landscaping for a spring cleaning of our yard. Hector provided a prompt and very reasonable quote and setup a timeline that worked with our schedule. He and his team cleaned our entire yard including leaf, pine needle and branch pickup. They were extremely thorough and did a great job, especially on a cold, windy day. Our yard is now spotless! He and his team were courteous and professional, payment was very easy and communication was great. I will definitely be using them again for future projects.

Gabriel and his team spent several days on my property removing 3 large Leyland Cyprus trees and a large pyracantha. They were polite and responsive to my needs. Work was begun within three days of my call. It was obvious to me that their knowledge of pruning and removal of shrubs was that of trained professionals. To my delight they were able to rebuild a stone flower bed surrounding a red maple in my backyard. I highly recommend this business. Give them a call for all your landscaping needs. You will be pleased!

If you value communication and/or reliability, I would not recommend using them for snowplowing, unless you enjoy shoveling your own driveway when they dont show up. They didnt show up to plow my driveway in the most recent storm. I called them and told them it wasnt plowed and they told me that someone drove by and said it was, but they must have went to the wrong house because it was never plowed. They also said they would call me back and never did. In the previous storm they didnt plow because I had a down wire. Totally understandable, but they also didnt let me know about the wire and that they couldnt plow the driveway. I had that wire taken care of first thing in the morning, and I both called and messaged them asking them to come plow the driveway, but they never showed up, and didnt respond to my voicemail/message until 24 hours after the storm.

I could not recommend Hector and his team any higher. They are professional, on time, responsive and extremely personable. I leave all of my lawn care needs to Alvarez Landscaping, and have referred several friends who are still satisfied customers. His work is impeccable and I strongly recommend you to reach out to him!

After meeting with the owner and seeing the very many good reviews online, we decided to let Alvarez Landscaping cut our lawn, mulch and seed some new grass. Compared to the other landscapers in the past, the lawn cutting was good, however the mulching turned out to be too thin and let a lot of weeds grow. We never had a problem with that before. After seeding, it came out patchy. They did come back for a second round but it did not improve the patches, bare spots much. There was a lack of communication by both parties that lead to a lot of frustrations unfortunalty. We have someone else now. Sorry it didnt work out.
