We used Upstate Landscapers for a couple of projects at our home. Gerard and his crew did a great job with both projects. Gerard was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had during the work. He was also quick to respond when we reached out to him to ask for a bid on our second project. We had considered other landscapers for the initial project. But, never received a response from some and a couple of "we're too busy to get to you right now" responses. Gerard and Upstate Landscapers was eager to work with us and provide us with the project scope. So, it was an easy decision for us when we were ready to do the second project.

Upstate Landscapers made my grass greener from the first treatment they did! The guys came out the next day after hiring them and aerated our lawn; front, back and sides on a pretty large yard. Then in the next few days the guys took on fertilizing and weed killing the yard, after which it really took off! Total time to NEW AND GREEN was about a week!, and I had been trying to fertilize and treat on my own for a year, to no progress. We’ve had one further treatment which has just kept the weeds out and the lawn continuing to green up. YES, I am a happy owner looking at my new lawn!

They did a great job leveling the land and laying sod. Affordable and dependable. Also purchased a hose and sprinkler for us and set it up with a timer! Highly recommend them!

All I want is for my biweekly lawn maintenance to resume but I seem to be getting the run around and now what appears to be legal action I may have to take. Cutting my grass would be a lot simpler and less of a headache and less financially legally or lost business. So, take your business and project elsewhere to a company you can trust to show up on time, do the work promised and in an adult professional manner. This company is not reliable and “stole“ images of my home and landscaping without my permission and posted for billions to see for his financial benefit and advertising for new clients. Gerard took me on as a client and agreed to my lawn maintenance every 2 weeks but recently he stopped showing up. No call, no show and no plan ever to show up. AND I AM SHOCKED AT WHAT I AM SEEING ALL OVER THE INTERNET NOW THAT I AM LEAVING REVIEWS, MANY SHOTS OF MY HOME ON MANY DIFFERENT DAYS AND ANGLES! I am finding it on his business website, social media and many, many other platforms. Clear to me now that he staged & groomed my yard just for a photo shoot. He took and posted photos of my from my yard, my home and my personal outdoor space without my knowledge or permission for the whole world to see and for others to steal and use as well. He can’t come cut my grass but for years he has been using my pictures of my home and private space for his own advertising for new business. If anything I should be getting a discount or a free grass cutting for all the business that he’s been taking in because my home is the face of his business on many websites and social media. I did not give you permission to put pictures of my house on the Internet. I don’t even put pictures of my house on the WWW and on apps. I don’t put pictures of myself on the Internet and I certainly don’t expect a stranger to do so and benefit in profit from it and then kick me to the curb and not cut my grass. I don’t appreciate being used and lied to. Now you lie to me saying that you don’t cut grass and Anderson! Oh really? You do! I found out that was another lie. Is is that you don’t have enough employees to do the work you, or that employees like Jason just refuses to cut my yard even though you have tasked him and instructed him to take over your Anderson clients. Who’s the boss of your company? I do not want to be the face of that and the lies. Why did you tell me you cannot cut my yard anymore after taking $600 from me just 4 weeks ago for the spring cleanup and pine straw install and said you will be back in May. You made no mention then that you were not coming back or did not, ALL OF A SUDDEN, cut grass anymore. You took pictures of my home, my yard, and the new pine straw you laid done at some point a year ago as well, all for your advertising purposes and then you spread them all over the internet without my permission? Then just all I’ve a sudden this week in May when it is time to start cutting you don’t show up for a simple yard cut and never planned to show up. I guess a verbal and a handshake mean nothing anymore. All I want is my yard to continue to be cut, it’s that simple. Definitely less of a headache and less expensive than attorneys, court and legal fees and time off work to go to court is going to be. And loss of business from my reviews because of your lack of professionalism and sneaky practices of using people for your personal benefit. Either remove all photos all over the entire Internet that you have put up over the last two years. You have put MY PERSONAL SPACE on website after website, several platforms and social media sites and that spread to sister websites and opened the door to just anyone taking my pictures to use however they want. I’m going to have seek legal advice and have to hire a company to search and see how far this goes and how much damage has been done. Certainly my right to privacy. cease and desist or you can get back on track with my lawn maintenance every 2 weeks and I can think about letting you continue to use my home as the face of your company.
