Stonish's Lawn Care & Snowplowing in Amherst

A friend of mine, who is a customer of Stonish Landscaping, referred to me them a couple of years ago. I wasn't ready to use them just yet. Then my neighbor used them to remove some bushes and plant some grass. So I asked for Cody to give me a quote to install some edging and stones around my arbor vitae trees to avoid some wild rabbit damage and to make it easier to mow around. Cody gave me a very reasonable quote and were easy to work with. I usually do the hard and landscaping myself, but I know this was a larger job that would take me several days to do. They did it in 1/2 of the day. Very pleased with their service and the completed job.

I'm so glad that I didn't attempt to put patio stones down myself by going to Home Depot . My walkway is outstanding. thank you Cody and the guys for delivering excellence.My wife loves it also , and she is really hard to please. Professional , very clean , and accommodating.Five stars.

Good and Bad: price for regular lawn maintenance is reasonable and they are punctual and reliable though they cut the grass shorter than I prefer. BUT, I asked them to trim my hedge once when I was unable to do it myself. When I do it, it takes me less than 20 minutes. I made the mistake of not asking how much they would charge me before asking them to do it. I got an invoice for $245 for a 15 minute hedge trim!!!!

Cody and his crew put in some hard work giving us a beautiful raised patio. There was a reason other landscapers we contacted either didn’t get back to us or just didn’t communicate clearly. That’s when I found Stonish Landscaping. It was meant to be. From the get go, Cody couldn’t have been more professional and I so appreciated his communication. I found that to be such a breath of fresh air. He always checked in and let me know what was going on. They showed up on time and worked so hard, even the week we had extremely high temps and humidity. The whole crew was friendly and respectful of our property. I would hire them 10x over. It is my honor to give them a rave review. They deserve it!

Stonish's came in May of 2023 to fix some problems that we had when we had drain tile installed back in 2022. Mainly ruts and bare spots in the lawn. They came on time, filled in the low spots, and seeded the bare spots as per our contract. Cody told me then that if there were any spots that didn't grow in to call him and they'd take care of it. I had to call them once for a few bare spots, and as of September of 2023 the lawn looks very good. We're very happy with their work, and would recommend them and use them again.

Mark Stonish and the team were great to work with every step of the way and I appreciated the open communication throughout the process. The crew did a wonderful job with our landscaping! They had great attention to detail and took the time to make sure our lawn was not ruined in the process and always cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend!

The top-notch crew worked tirelessly for two full days to deliver an outstanding result— successfully installing sod in our backyard, reseeding large areas, creating new garden beds, planting new shrubs and flowers, laying river rock along the side of our house, and trimming/cleaning up our old landscape. They were always attentive to everything I asked and earned my trust for all of our future landscaping needs. Stonish’s Landscaping made our property look fabulous!
