Terrible - I dont normally write reviews, but for the amount of money we spent and the lack of service we received I felt I had to. We had someone from Borns come quote trimming an overgrown hedge, the gentleman was very thorough. We talked through that things may take a year or two to fully grow back in the way wanted, but it was doable. We were told a rough timeline (a 2-3 week window the following month), and that someone would reach out to a few days in advance to coordinate. Outside of the scheduled time, and without notice, I happen to hear the crew working away one day. They happened to be working on a stepstool not even 2ft away from my car in the driveway and hadnt thought to call or knock and have me move it to prevent a potential scratch. Luckily I caught it and moved the car, I went back inside to work until they were done. The crew left without notice. The work they did was absolutely terrible. I knew things would look bare in areas given the amount to cut back, but it was a complete uneven mess. Our neighbors whos yard the hedge shares even commented to us it was not well done. We called Borns to have someone come back out. To their credit the new crew came within a week, and knocked on the door to let us know. While it looks less uneven, it is still a complete mess. Noone had reached out to see if we were satisfied, and of course our card on file was automatically charged. We then discovered that the crew had stopped cleaning up their cuttings in an area to the side of our garage that isnt as easily seen. We had to clear what filled more than 3 lawn bags full of spiky barberry branches. Not so fun times after spending big bucks to hire experts. I know mistakes happen, but this was terrible service in so many ways, and way more expensive than other options, that I have to tell others to think twice. Edit: to the owner who replied 3 months later. I appreciate the sentiment of learning from your mistakes, however where was this 3 months ago when I tried to have the situation rectified and was ignored

Great company! Highly recommend their services! I ve been using them since moving to N. Ridgeville. I have recommended them to my HOA, and neighbors. Great group!

So far this year has been a bad experience for me. Last year they were good but this year I don t know what in the world they going thru that they had been messing up so bad. They messed up my flower beds after I put fresh mulch and had my garden nice and clean. I always pay for the bag so that way no grass goes into my flower bed or the fresh mulch I put. They showed about up four times without the bag and messed up my flower beds and of course is video recorded because I have cameras everywhere. I have emails of all the times that they have messed up and left mess of grass around my driveway or around the house. Many times I had to call them to remind them and it seemed like they don t communicate and they would show up on the wrong days knowing I m schedule for Thursdays. Then a manager came here to see what his employees did and he even confirmed that they did messed up and left the grass long and he was coming back with someone to fix what they did but he never showed up and left me waiting. I asked to discount the service they messed up on and he refusing to do so. I had to ask my brother in law to come her to help me fix my flower beds, clean the mulch and to fix the edges because that was also wrong. I m really upset that in the two years I had done business with this company this year is the worst and refuse to work with me or my family! Now this is sad because I run a business myself and the first thing to keep a business running is by making sure our customers are happy or satisfied. Our customers experience is #1 priorities in my business. This is a most in all companies especially when the business has good reliable customers to keep the business going!

Employees do not care. They mow my neighbors yard and I had to put up sticks to keep them from driving on my lawn and spraying grass clippings all over the side of my house. Also they trim down the side of my fence and are tearing it up. Should all be fired. Notice how they don t respond to the truth!!! They need to start a training program for their employees. They care about nothing but getting paid.

I had hedges trimmed down from 12ft to 6 .It was a tough job for the guys .They did a great job ! Friendly and cleaned up well ! Office staff got back promptly via email also .Thanks !

The owner of this company, Jared, took responsibility for his landscapers bending several places in our fence. He promised to have his landscapers come out and fix it. Even though that is not optimal for us, because landscapers don t know how to fix fences, especially steal ones, but we were trying to be cooperative and understanding. And, to give the benefit of the doubt. We understand that mistakes happen. Fast forward one year and we re still calling. Still getting false promises about someone coming out to fix the fence. This isn t just about being unprofessional and unethical. It s just about basic human decency. We are taught when we re five years old if we break something we re responsible for fixing it. Like I said, basic human decency. We re all hard-working people. It s just about being honest and fair to one another. The owner of this company does not carry those values.

Very unreliable lawn care service. Left clumps of cut grass laying in my lawn in the spring that killed areas of my lawn. I fired Born s after about 6 weeks and hired another company who has been very responsive and reliable. I am very glad that I did.

First time having a company treat weeds and mow. I like their customer service. They send an email when work is completed. You can pay online. Nicely done. They have given us an excuse to have someone else care for the lawn!

Great experience from beginning to end. Jarod, Brad, Mark and Spencer were delightful to work with. I will be contacting Born for all future projects. Just waiting for Brad to come back to grind the tree stump.

Im very impressed by Borns Landscape. There customer service is far and above any other Ive experienced. You call, a real person answer and takes care of your request right away. Thats a novel approach these days. Really, really nice experience.

We had new landscaping added to our backyard. Jared was responsive to my initial concerns and came out to discuss a solution. Matthew did a great job on the installation. He was a hard worker.

First season using Borns landscape, very happy with lawn care service. Customer service is great as well. They respond to any questions that I may have. Would highly recommend them.

Quite possibly one of the most frustrating companies. Very unorganized. There were times they would send crews to cut the grass within two days of each other and multiple times they went two weeks without cutting our grass at all. At one point my grass was 9 tall. Our spring clean up was done in June, after all our plants bloomed. Decorative Maiden Grasses were not trimmed, had to do it myself because the new grasses started growing. Had to beg them at the end of June to come out to do the back flow test on our sprinklers that they opened in April. Still not complete and now we are out of compliance with our local municipality. Every time we called the office to ask when something was going to get done, they either couldn t tell us or the date they gave us was wrong. Multiple times they said they would be out the next day, and never showed up. Very frustrating to deal with such an unorganized company.

Caden and Noah both showed up and worked extremely hard the entire time they were at my home. My beds are refreshed, weed and grass free and look beautiful! I am so happy with the work they did and how my front and back yard turned out. I would feel more than comfortable with having them return to my home to tackle any landscaping needs! We called Borns after a very disappointing experience with another company. It was the best decision weve made in a long time! We have Borns taking care of our entire lawn care needs; from mowing, fertilizing, and landscaping. The crews are very polite and professional. They make sure we are satisfied before they leave the job. We have been singing their praises since day one!

This was a huge mistake. I hired them to mow my lawn twice while we were on vacation in 2023 and they did a good job. Hired them full time weekly in 2024 as I cant mow while recovering from surgery. This year has been horrible. They are not reliable. Most of the times they mowed this year they didnt get here until my grass was 8 or higher. Then they mostly just knock it down because its too high and 3 days later my lawn has a Mohawk. If you call to find out if they are coming the office people lie. They will tell you you are on the schedule for today or tomorrow but they rarely actually make that schedule. Now, on top of this I have a billing snafu where they are claiming I didnt pay for a month. I make my payments through my bank using a bill payment system though so they have proof these guys cashed the check but now Im dealing with them trying to find it. This entire thing has been a headache and, once the billing is cleared up, I will probably fire them and find someone reliable who can run a business. I dont need this stress and neither do you.

Fair estimate, timely and professional experience, exceeded expectations

Prices are reasonable. The crew that comes out does a fantastic job. I would recommend their service to others.

TL;DR = the workers do great work, but management is either stretched too thin or too incompetent for me to be able to recommend them. I let time pass before writing this review, as I didnt want temporary emotions to impact my opinion more than it should. I can confidently say that the workers that performed services on my property did a competent job and were always pleasant and professional. Jared was also always personable when he came out to give me quotes or go over the work that was being performed. But the inaccuracies, lack of communication, and lack of follow-through made me have an extremely poor experience with Borns. Multiple unreturned phone calls and emails over the span of a year and a half. Multiple times I was billed for mowing services that never occurred, and when inquiries were made I was told that the services occurred on a different date and their system was catching up; to which I would offer to pull up security camera footage of any date and time they believe the mowing services took place to show them it didnt. Multiple times I was told work would be performed by X date, and a week after X date with no communication and pursuing follow-up on my own it would be moved to Y date, which would still pass without any work being done and no communication. I could understand and could empathize if the weather didnt permit it to be done or they were extremely busy on other projects, but this was never stated to be the case and there was never any preemptive communication along the lines of hey, were really sorry but we need to push your date back. Part of me feels bad telling people to avoid a local business, but unfortunately Borns just cannot be trusted based off my personal experience.

Very happy with the lawn services with Born s Lawn Care. The cutting, edging and care that is taken is great! Also very reasonably priced. Quick response time to questions or adding services too!

First year using Born s for lawn care. Had a few problems at the beginning of the season but we worked them out to our satisfaction. Plan on staying with them. Employees considerate and helpful.

I hired Borns to mow my lawn weekly, to remove a couple overgrown bushes and to do the Spring clean up. Overall, I am very happy with their services. The team is very respectful and reliable. Before performing the Spring clean up, the team walked around my landscape and made sure they understood what I wanted and followed through on each request. I appreciate that they didnt just do what they thought but rather took the time to understand what I wanted. Not everything has been perfect, I was not happy about loose grass that was left behind after mowing. I had to contact them a couple times but the manager came out, listened to my request and the issue was addressed quickly and without further issues. I believe the issue was handled appropriately and therefore, I would recommend this company for your landscaping needs.

Born s landscaping repaired my patio wall and stairs. They did a fantastic job. I really appreciate the whole process. The project was scheduled promptly and delivered beyond expectations. This process included tearing out an old deck, removal of a caving in concrete pad, removal of several trees, installation of a new lawn and finally the creation of a beautiful new stamped patio. For the past two years Jared and his guys at Borns landscaping have done a phenomenal job with our Amherst youth soccer fields. With their fertilization processes our fields are now some of the best in northeast Ohio!!!!

Quality work and great service.

I have used Born s Landscape and Lawncare for the last 13 years across multiple homes I have owned and projects needing completed. Landscaping, hard scraping, yard leveling/ new lawn installation, deck/patio design and installation, as well as yard maintenance through their fertilizer program have all been on the list. Everything I have had done has been a great success, completed ad expected (if not better) and added value to my property. But my favorite service I have hired them for every year is the weed free beds program! This means I don t have to pull all of the weeds myself, which makes me smile all summer long!

Poor customer service and overcharging. You do not get what you agree to and pay for. Poor job mowing and very thin layer 1 of mulch that wont last more than a few months. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ive worked with Borns both on a personal level and business level. Both experiences have been excellent. At my house they show up like clockwork for their fertilizing/grub control program. Professionally they help keep one of our ballfields in town looking good for the kids playing baseball all summer long and then treat that same field in the offseason to help maintain. Since I started working with them several years ago, almost all of my questions have been addressed by Mr. Born himself but his staff is just as prompt and courteous. This is a great company to work with and they are always my number one phone call for all landscaping projects.

Excellent communication, great work and very competitive pricing. I appreciated the attention to detail and the thoroughness. They got the job done on time as expected. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family for all their lawn care needs.

Hired them back In early April to do my lawn they also came Out and gave me a Quote on replacing some dead plants and weeding of flower beds and paid them end of April 1200 deposit .. we haven t heard from them after that . They haven t cut my grass at all this month .. they called once and said because of rain finally got ahold of them Monday and said it would be done this Wednesday when they do the common areas . Well Wednesday came and no cut . Called the office and the lady said weird but your on the schedule for Thursday .. still not cut..... I am done I would never use them again for anything

They will come out and give an estimate but won t actually do the work. Don t ever give a deposit because you won t hear back.

I had Borns Landscaping come out and weed my beds before a cookout I was having. The staff and crew were friendly. They did an excellent job. I will definitely have them do other work for me.

I called for a quote on reseeding my front lawn and weed removal/reseeding on another area. The guy showed up on time was quick and friendly and gave me a ball park figure on pricing and told me a quote would be emailed to me by the end of the week. That was almost a month ago and the only emails Ive gotten from them are automated emails about their services. Ive read other reviews dealing with the same issue but figured Id give them a shot anyways. Not a big deal though Ill just go with someone else.

This is the second year of using this lawn service and we are very happy with the outcome. Our grass in the greenest and healthiest compared to other lawns in our neighborhood.

I have used the services of this company for Autumn cleanup, spring cleanup, and snow removal. They always do good work. Very professional. The only reason for a four-star rating is it they are a little bit pricey. Other than that, they do the job well.

I have a one acre backyard that was full of creeping charlie the last two years. Since Borns Lawn Care has applied weed killer to my yard this year (2023), the weeds have disappeared and the grass is lush and thick. Sometimes all you read on Google reviews are the people complaining about issues and service. I thought it was important to leave this review because I am SO HAPPY with the price I paid for the service AND the outcome. Very happy customer!

My wife and I wanted a late fall clean up before Christmas.We texted Jarred at Born Landscape And The job was done within a few days of our request. The clean up was done beyond our expectations. We have been using Jarred and staff for years for landscape and our weekly grass cutting. We would highly recommend them!

This company decided to change how they charge in 2021 for snow plow. Flat rate of $490 for unlimited plows. This may be a good deal if you like to waste money and do not plan on leaving your house if it does snow. The first snow they did one swipe in center of driveway 2 days after snow finished. Very poor quality. Company states well we are based in Amherst. Maybe this company should not accept my business if they cannot guarantee service.This time, they have still not come and a neighbor actually had to plow a lane for me to get to my mail box. I have attached photos of the quality work (or lack there of) done by this company.

Very pleased with their lawn care service. I don t believe most people understand that you can t cut grass when it is wet, just because it s sunny and warm the next day still doesn t mean the yard is ok to cut. Born s landscape always pay attention to the extra details!

Born first came to our backyard april of 2021. All we needed done was an island of plants and bushes taken out and to replace it with grass seed. they came out in May 2021 to start. At that time the island was taken out but no grass was planted. We were told that they would come back another day. Little did we know that the another day was today 6/16/2022. It took a whole year and two months for them to finish the job. This is after us reaching out to them multiple times and we were being told will reach out to the boss. Meanwhile that area of the yard was a huge eyesore and overgrown with weeds. We are happy that its finally done, however very unlikely to use their services again.

Jared and Brent lead an excellent team! The work is always of high quality and timely. The office team has also been exceptional in responding to special requests and questions and when needed ensuring that my request is forwarded as needed. Thanks!

We have been using Borns since 2019 and they have always done excellent work for us. If we have a problem I just call and they are right on it. Our yard is beautiful thanks to their hard work.

Born s transformed my lawn over the past few years. We have clay soil and their aeration services brought back the grass, and their applications made the lawn look lush, green and weeds are gone. Lawn never looked better. I highly recommend!

Front yard was overloaded with weeds. We contracted Born to do weed and feed treatments and aeration and seeding. Price was good and they communicate well the upcoming schedule. Overall...pleased.

Heres a shocker.... a company that actually does what you need and shows up at the appointment time! What a concept! Tech did a great job aerating the lawn...had a soggy and compacted lawn but not any longer...thanks for that

Moved to a new house with severely compacted soil. Called Borns for core aeration and they came out within a matter of days - good responsiveness. They did exactly what I wanted and hopefully Ill see a better lawn next Spring.

My car was COVERED IN GRASS , chunks of mowed grass everywhere !

I called 3x and never received a call back.

Cut my lawn three times, very inconsistent, super long in the front and almost down to the dirt in the backyard. Broke a sprinkler head with the weed Wacker, which I then had to pay $75 for it to be fixed, when I emailed 5 times, I never got a response. Hire this company if you want no response and damage to your property. The people who answer the phone all but one of them no literally nothing about yard maintenance and they don t even live in the state of Ohio. When the owner came out to give me an estimate, I asked him about all the negative reviews I read all over the internet about his company he didn t answer me directly, and now I can see why. I had reservations hiring them to cut and fertilize my lawn, Looking back I should have followed that feeling.

Born came highly recommended to me in late 2019. They provided decent service in 2020 though bed maintenance and mulch I did not do in 2021 - not their strong suit. It appears the wheels have fallen off in 2021. After a shaky start they just stopped showing up. Calls not returned and no explanation. It s clear that labor challenges are affecting many businesses but can only assume this might be the problem because they have literally dropped off the face of the earth. Shameful example of customer care.

We signed a contract with Borns for a landscaping project with date of service set for the week of June 20th. Emailed several times with a communicative customer service rep, Kay, who indicated that our landscape install was set for that week, no problems. Emailed last week, on the 15th to check in and ask for details about shrubs, etc. Customer service rep said theyd check in with Joe on my questions, but never got back to me. Emailed this Monday, the week our landscape install should have begun. Again, customer service rep said theyd check with Joe. Now the week is over, with no additional communication, and we are going elsewhere for our landscape install. With any business involving services, communication and timeliness is key. If Id received information about any delays or complications that might affect the timeline for the project, we may have understood and hung in there. But without communication, we will move on. Plenty of other professional lawn businesses out there to support.

You cant get information regarding your service in advance. Im sure this isnt going to be a new story. I completely understand the strain of this time of year on landscaping companies. However, the ability to get a timeline, or even a potential timeline, for a service doesnt seem possible at this time. My wife and myself have talked to very nice people answering the phones. Every time the conversation ends with the same answer. the schedules are made on Sunday by the general managers. Im not upset about any of that. Thats business, I get it. But thats as far as it has gone. Last conversation was one week ago. It ended with someone will reach out on Monday. I wouldnt be writing this if that had happened. Ironically, we received our automated system email Its been one month since you started but still no phone call with a time frame.... UPDATE Still didnt receive a call. However, the service was completed and I am happy with the results. The crew Jay, David and Evan were very personable. We chatted about the way things are and everything makes sense. All I ever wanted was to talk to someone in the know. They did a fantastic job and would happy have that crew back.

They maintain my lawn and do other miscellaneous work around my yard. They have been good to me and Ill use them for many other services in the future

Poor topsoil, poor technique, no seed put down, poor straw technique. Workers got their equipment off the truck and never used it, was supposed to airate and did not. Workers were lazy and smoked all day.

Contacted Borne in the early spring (March) about doing a full yard clean up and removing our old mulch and replacing the mulch for our front and back yard, was quoted, and decided to move forward with the work. In April, before work began, I contacted Borne to inform them that I could only go forward with completing the front yard mulching (no removal, no cleanup, and just the few beds in the front) I let them know the reasoning- my husband had been diagnosed with stage IV cancer (it broke his back in multiple places and left him immediately disabled and out of a job) This wasn t a problem and Sonia was kind about the situation and told me she d let me know the price once they were done. They charged me for the entire yard. Put it on my saved credit card. Over $1500 to lay mulch (that was the quote for the entire yard to mulch & cleanup the old mulch) I have called, left messages, emails, I talked to the guys that did the mowing - nothing. Never a response or refund. As a small business owner myself I understand the covid hardships and offered to have them come out and at least do the rest of the yard since it was paid for- never a response. I feel like in our lowest times, we were taken advantage of. And I ve given the benefit of the doubt. Not exaggerating- called probably 20 times asking for an answer before I resorted to leaving this review. On top of it, their mowers are set too low and destroyed my entire yard. Save yourself a headache and go with a reputable business.

I was recommended to use Born s Lawncare as I just bought a house and didn t have a lawnmower just yet. I have had several issues with this company since I started services with them in August. First, no one is never available to answer the phone and the voicemail box is always full. Secondly, I had a dog chain in my back yard and after they came to cut my grass that went missing. However, they did pay for a replacement chain. Lastly, they have over charged me for lawn services that never happened (thankfully I have outdoor cameras to prove this). I will be canceling my services with them ASAP!

Came and hauled away my leaves. While their prices went up over time I still think they are great company with an outstanding, honest owner.

Fall clean up looks great!

I was very pleased with how nice our yard looked after the clean up. We have three 75ft+ trees and live near a park, so we get a ton of leaves to rake up. Borns showed up the same day that I signed the proposal. I couldnt believe that they were able to accommodate us so quickly, especially since it was the day before Thanksgiving. The crew were very professional and did a fantastic job! I will definitely recommend them to others and I will most certainly hire them again.

These guys completed a larger project for us last Fall. They leveled the yard, seeded, and built beds in our new construction home. We are really happy with our yard, the team was professional, and the price was right. During the busy season the response time can be slower, but that comes with the territory. Jared Born has been to my house multiple times to check on the yard which I felt was very nice of him. Id highly recommend these guys!

I would recommend Borns Landscaping & Lawn Care if you want to work with a team that truly wants to make their customers outdoor experience come to life. Life is pretty busy between work and two small children so Jared and his team take care of our landscaping needs and I never have to worry about my yard looking anything but pristine. We spend a lot of time in our yard so I am very appreciative of the work they do so that we can enjoy our property. Jared and his crew are true professionals and I am so happy to be working with them. Last thing I will say is communication is the key to any customer experience and last time I had a question, Jared returned my phone call right away. Thats good customer service folks!

Theyre supposed to come every Friday to more our lawn, God forbid it should rain on Friday because youll wait ANOTHER WHOLE WEEK to get your lawn mowed. The quality of the mow is very poor. They mow like they simply dont care and theyre just trying to get their job done. At the end of last year they mowed and trimmed our lawn down to the dirt! We use another service to fertilize, spray, etc. our lawn and the first time they came out for the year and saw our lawn they couldnt believe what they had done to it! I would definitely not recommend this company for lawn car, period!

Jared Born came out on Wednesday, June 10th. Didn t receive an estimate until Monday the 15th after having to contact them to ask where it was. Had a few things that I had questions about and needed changed before going ahead with the work. Still waiting for questions to be answered after several emails and texts. I ve decided to give up. This company must not want my business at all.

The leadership is very nice but the quality of work and professionalism just isn t there. I had to call repeatedly to get the team to come finish work and the work that was performed wasn t quality. They planted new bushes and didn t add dirt, plants died almost immediately. My emails to get the work fixed went unanswered.

I had Jared come out to my home back in June of 2020 to do an estimate on a job. It was on a Friday and he said he d have my estimate emailed no later then Monday. Well. Monday came and went and no email. Then, I left a comment on their Facebook page and they finally emailed me my quote. Fine. I was happy with the estimate and went ahead and scheduled the job. They were supposed to come out the week of July 6th, but never called me to tell me the time or day. I sent numerous emails and phone calls and was assured they would come out. But they never did. I got an email from Jeff stating they would come out either Thursday or Friday, but they no called, no showed. What a joke. They evidently don t want my money. So pathetic. If you don t want to do the job just tell me and let me move on. These people are unprofessional. Move on and don t let these guys do any of your work.

Owner came out to give us an estimate the beginning of June and said hed email it to us by the end of the week. Never got it. Called the following week and the girl that answered the phone said he was working on it and wed have it shortly. Here it is July 5th and still no estimate. If they dont want the work or if the job is too small, then say so. Dont leave your potential customers hanging! I shouldnt have to keep calling for an estimate. The sad part is, its the OWNER of the company that comes out to do the estimate. So much for trying to support local business. UPDATE: After 3 more phone calls and the receptionist telling me shell remind him to get the estimate out, we are still waiting. Its going into August and still no estimate.

Waiting since June for an estimate which I should have received within a week. It is now the end of July and nothing. Repeated calls to conpany regarding and still no response. Poor customer service!

I have been using Born landscaping for 2 summers now! They have done an incredible job with all the landscaping and maintaining our yard. They are very reasonable and reliable. Our grass was completely dead at the beginning of the season and now it looks beautiful and green again. They have impeccable customer service and very easy to get ahold of. I will be referring Born to my friends and neighbors. Thanks Team!

EXCELLENT total house transformation thanks to the landscaping job by Borns! Decided to get landscaping after 20 years of none and wow did they do a great job! Very easy to work with and did everything they said theyd do and then some.

Dont know how to cut a straight line. Ran over a 1ft tall bright orange property marker twice and cut into my yard about 3ft. I called and it took their mowing manger 3wks and 2 phone calls to replace the orange marker

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! They left my lawn with piles and piles of grass, along with grass all over the driveway and the front porch! Cleaning up is not included in the mowing price which is the most ridiculous thing I ve ever heard of! No regard for customer and a complete ripoff. Go anywhere else!!

Efficient cost effective

Jared sent me an estimate about a month ago, had a couple simple follow up questions for him and his sales team... after my first email it took them over a week to reply, then after my last email it has now been another week + and am still waiting for any kind of reply. I have emailed, as well as called and texted Jared directly multiple times. I ve been ready to schedule and pay since they came out. Have called emailed and texted to no avail. Just looking for the curtesy to reply in a reasonable timeframe. Would still like you to come out just don t know how else to get in touch.. update: it s now June and still no work done...

I never knew when they would cut my grass. If it rained on my day they would never try again that week. Left me Cutting my own lawn. Asked for estimate to trim bushes never got one. Wish they had better communication hopefully they will fix this. They had a lot of good reviews and now they are getting poor ones. Good luck !

My family met with Jared in April. We discussed what we wanted and he sent me a quote within a week. We paid him over $3000 on May 4th to cover half the cost for the work that we agreed would be complete by Memorial Day. It took multiple phone calls and emails for work to even begin. Then the agreement changed due to weather which we understood to 90% completion by Memorial Day. Here we are, its 6/17 and Id say were at about 50% completion. Communication is non-existant. We just want what we paid for and it shouldnt be this difficult to get that.

I called Borns for some last minute landscaping that needed to be done. (The grass down our entire sidewalk and driveway was anywhere from 2 inches to 4 inches below causing a tripping hazard.) They were out the next day to give me a quote that was below 3 other companies. Within 5 days it was done. I would recommend them to anyone needing lawn care. Professional, looks great, and all around great company. Will use again!

I am so incredibly impressed with this company. The staff in the field is professional fast and efficient. They work like a well-oiled machine. They do an amazing job and their attention to detail is great.. So reasonably priced I may never maintain my yard on my own again. Leaving more time for the part I really enjoy which is gardening

Very disappointed. I was under the impression that I was hiring a professional company. On both occasions that the crew came out, they missed mowing several patches of my lawn. They also blocked me and my neighbors in our driveway,and when asked; would not move. My neighbors called the police on me because they refused to move their trailer. Will not be using them again. Still have not received a call back regarding my complaint.
