Doug’s crew does an outstanding job for a reasonable price. They have taken care of us for 3 seasons and we couldn’t be happier.

Dependable, reliable, great quality lawn care, always quick responses to inquiries. Company is a little more expensive than others, but the quality of service and resulting quality of lawn plus reliability were worth the money. Company provides a contract/service agreement so you know exactly what you are paying for--no hidden fees. They showed up as promised. Always cordial and happy to asnwer any questions. As an out of town landlord I needed someone I could rely on to care for lawn and yard care and they provided stress-free service.

We have been using D &E Services—from occasional snow removal when we were out of town to routine mowing, seeding/aerating, application of pre-season pre-emergent crab grass killer, etc.—for years! We rely on their tree removal/trimming expertise. They respond almost immediately to our requests, avoid newly seeded areas delineated by flags, are reliable, clean up after each mowing, and are reasonably priced.

These guys responded to the request for quote immediately when others never got back to us at all. Their pricing was very competitive. Their customer service was very responsive. The communication was great, we knew what was happening and when. And most importantly they came when they said they would and did an excellent job leaving no trace behind from their work. We would highly recommend this crew and would use them again.

Doug gave us a far price to cut down a couple trees for us. He called ahead to let us know his crew would be coming. They made sure to take care of the lawn and cleaned up after themselves. Doug then followed up making sure that everything was to our liking. I will always call Doug first if I need anything done in the future. Thanks

I switched to D & E Outside Services because I received MORE services at a LOWER price than the previous company I used. I was very happy I switched. Then the Derecho came and they came right away to cut up and clean up my damaged trees. Then I was more than happy !!! They also helped one of my friends and neighbors also and everyone was impressed with their services. I’m thankful I switched!!

D&E has done a fantastic job with my lawn and snow removal. They're the only company I trust in Ames; having tried several. I had very high standards at the outset and they exceeded them. I can be traveling for months at a time and have no concerns about the condition of my lawn.

I bought fill sand from D and E. I was surprised by how cheap they were compared to others in the Ames area. They delivered the sand very quickly. Several of the other places that I checked didn't think that they could get their trucks/trailers into the narrow space, but D and E had a trailer that fit quite easily. Even though I had a small delivery, they treated me like I was an important customer. Thanks D and E !!! I'm recommending you guys to all my friends.
