Must be paying for that 4.1 rating. As a former provider, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy, let alone my competition unless I wanted them to go bankrupt. Their support staff is a joke. The app they demand you use is the worst, probably hasn't gotten a software update since 2010. And they pay is less then half what I normally charge. And heaven forbid that property needs anything else that you won't do for free, getting them to pay extra on anything is a nightmare, and if you don't get a verification confirmation of additional funds or work you won't get it and they'll claim it was never authorized. They are desperate for providers yet can't figure out how to make working for them less of a pain in the dk.
Do not do work for this company. The apps they use never works and will have you trying to upload photos of one job for over an hr.They will agree to pay you for a completed job and then never pay you and try to lower the job cost by 20-30% and yet you still won’t get paid.
DO NOT use this company. They are a cheap alternative that property management companies use in lieu of reputable local lawn care companies. Their workers show up unannounced, are disrespectful, and don't know the first thing about lawn care. Have a fescue lawn and they put down bermuda seed without aerating in October, when they knew it wouldn't grow. They just wanted the money and took advantage of the lack of knowledge the owners have on the lawn and showing up when they knew we'd be out of town so we couldn't stop them. This company is a scam. Use a local company with good reviews.

I recently started service and had overall good experiences however my view of the company took a steep dive with my last service. The crew that came out did a terrible job and literally left 25% of my front yard uncut. I called customer service and they seemed genuine about the concern however they never called me back or took any steps to come cut the rest of my yard. 2 days later, I called and was hung up on. I called again and asked to cancel, and without collecting any additional information (ie name, address, number) was told it would be taken care of. It's clear that the company is screening calls and unwilling to help when a customer isn't happy with the service. I signed up for a mowing service and my yard was hacked up. Typically I'm understanding but this isn't how customers should be treated. I'm happy to switch companies even if I'm paying more.
I highly recommend Lawn.com. The mowing, trimming and blowing has been terrific. Everything is neat and clean when completed - especially in areas where I have ivy that frequently needs trimmed so it doesn't become unruly. I like the fact that the same person comes each time as he knows the important little things to be aware. He's also very polite and professional. Based on Lawn.com's treatment of my yard, my next door neighbor, who has been using a different service for years, has expressed interest in the service since they said our yard treatment clearly is better than theirs!
These are the nicest and most competent people. They keep in touch with you about scheduling. Weather can change things, but they let you know when they are coming the day before. We put our billing on auto, so all we have to do is close the doggy door and pick up the dog toys in the yard. We don't have to go to the door. Our lawn looks as good as it can look, and neatly trimmed. Love it.
Do not hire this company. We moved into our new home a few months ago and completely renovated our yard as it had been left unattended for 2 years. I personally spent a lot of time, money, and effort seeding the front and back grass with tall fescue. Worst mistake was hiring these guys as they cut the grass too low and well below recommended 3-4 inches. Second scheduled maintenance they damaged my yard and my neighbors. Neighbor said specifically, "The guys look like they were playing around and should have at least asked me about coming on my property to try and get over to yours." Well it rained the day before they came out and I assumed they would cancel the appointment as that only makes sense. Ground was very wet. Instead of realizing that shouldn't cut the grass, they decided to go through my neighbors yard. All the bare spots in the pictures provided didn't exist till these guys were hired. Company is a complete joke. Do yourself a favor and hire a personally referred company for your landscaping needs.
I will definitely use this website again they were on time did everything I wanted perfectly and very respectful of everything.

Excellent service and provide value for money
I started with this company as a customer in 2017 and I was initially impressed, but now in 2022, service is erratic in every way, or they do not show up at all. The only thing that is perfect is how they pull money from your account for services not done.!!
Just like the other reviewers state,they will work you until a certain point, and give you more work while not paying you. While taking money from the customers. With dozens of pple answering the phone,they all play it off like none of them know anything and will send your issue over to the department. If you made it to that point,just quit. You only lose by trying. And waste your gas continuing to work by thinking they will make it right,with some net thirty day response. Then send un-usable checks and repeat the process. They have great responders for their online image though! 5/5 there.

Worst vendor experience that Ive ever encountered in many years of property management. They oversold their capabilities and under delivered in lawn care, accounting, customer service, and account management. A really horrible experience.

I ve reluctantly stayed with Lawn.com for over a year. There is definitely a gap between what is promised and what is delivered. However, over time delivery has improved. There is a definite lack of training for landscapers possibly due to turnover due to low pay. I have seen my ground cut to the dirt, plants cut and lost, and shrubs trimmed too far back. My requests rarely go heeded. However, when I do have the same individual come out he has done an adequate job after I had a chance to talk to him while he was there. Any messages left online or over the phone never get executed. Every month I am on the verge of seeking other services. A small local independent perhaps.

Every service, they do an incredible job on our lawn. They never cut corners- they always go above and beyond for us. The office staff is awesome and super responsive. I couldn t be happier with this service. In two years, we have never had a single issue! Only complete satisfaction!
The person that came out to do my yard was named Jose. When he started the yard it started to rain and it was a pretty consistent and at times a heavy rain. Not only did he finish the yard he walked around the entire yard with the weed wacker and cleared all the weeds that were growing up the fence. He did this while it was raining pretty hard. He then got the leaf blower and clear all debris. He worked very hard and completed both front and back yards. He did an excellent job in the pouring rain. I am a very satisfied customer. The office staff are great as well. Any concerns I ve ever had were handled with great customer service.
If there s ever a problem, you can always get a quick response and resolution.
They do a good job and for a good price. I recommended lawn.com to my neighbors.

Lawn.com is a must have lawn care service that you will never have to think twice about. Tim McClain did a fantastic job ensuring that if weather ever prevented service that another one was scheduled as soon as possible. This company definitely puts its customers first and it shows.

I absolutely love Lawn.com. All team members are a joy to work with from the CEO to the lawn care professionals they send out. I would definitely recommend their services if you want great reliable and quality service. Did I mention their customer service rocks!
Im not going to give any stars. I used this company in 2017 a lot. they were very good. something has happened. Today I experienced them not showing up, not calling or texting to tell me the time they would be there. Im waiting until 8pm after receiving an email saying that dispatch said all jobs will be done by dark. I had to send an email to see why they were so late. I really think they werent coming because yesterday they sent me an email asking how bad was my yard. I just think today was very bad business and I will not use them again. Being pateint is one thing , not being informed that you are not going to be able to do my yard is another.It would not post without giving a star. Have a good year.

I was very disappointed with my service. The grass was uneven and certain spots were left untouched. I wanted to give them another try before cancelling and two weeks later I had no service at all. I was told the crew had gone to the wrong house that evening and that we would not be able to be rescheduled for days later. Not a great first impression to begin with then poor service in order to keep a customer for every two week service.
We hired lawn.com to do a clean up last year. Should have known to discontinue services then, the work was subpar then, but we continued to use the company mainly because our busy schedule, it was put on the back burner. So far this year there has not been one blade of weedeating done. Areas of the yard that were landscaped are now over grown, so now we have to hire another company to come in and pay for yet another main yard cleaning. This company has no communication. If you see something that needs to be done and it out of your SOW (scope of work) then notify someone. I would not recommend to anyone. I spoke to the company at the end of last summer about this problem. I was told it would be better, it is not any better I have pics.
Absolutely horrible! The first day they came out, only half of my lawn got mowed. And leaves were still all over front and back lawn. Now today (second visit) NOTHING at all got done! Everything is still the same from when I left for work this morning. Yet I got an email reminding me about my payment and asking me about my experience with the provided service. This is crazy! I will be canceling services immediately.

I really dont tend to write bad reviews because anyone can have a bad day, however, the company did some really disappointing work for the $150 they charged me! If only that had been the end of it. I called and made my dissatisfaction known and the company was unwilling to even partially refund me from the fact that they did not even address the back of yard, which was part of the agreement. I cancelled the service. After I cancelled the service days in advance and in writing, they returned again without my permission, did another less-than-adequate job on my lawn and had the gall to charge my card, which I have disputed through my credit card. I wrote them again underscoring that our business agreement was over, and, believe it or not, they sent me notice yesterday that I was scheduled for another visit. I wrote them AGAIN and said that they should, by NO MEANS return to my home. Thankfully, I was home today to see that they ignored me, even as the worker was about to cut my grass again today (and Lawn.com subsequently charge my card, of course). I would say, Buyer Beware! This is an unorganized, unprofessional company with serious administration issues and the work has been poorly/pitifully done in too many instances.

Horrible company and service. The second time we had our lawn service done with them, I actually thought it was a joke (because of how uneven the grass was) and it was embarrassing to even have our lawn look like that. We reached out with our concerns with pictures and worked with both Brandon and Nicholle who stated they were also disappointed and would have a crew back out within a few days to fix the disaster. No show. We reached out AGAIN letting them know how frustrated and disappointed we were and that wed prefer to cancel the service. Without an effort to fix anything they responded with I am so sorry to hear that our redeployment team was not able to fix the service They were not able to because they did not show up. Would NEVER recommend anyone use them.
Signed up as a new customer to have services done at/for my parents house. Company rescheduled 4 times in a week and yard was never cut. Don t think they are looking for new customers or provide any actual services.
If I could have left a lower rating I would have. This is ridiculous how lazy and unprofessional this company is. Waited 3 weeks for a bi weekly service, explained I needed my bushes trimmed ( like why do I have to explain that) then they FINALLY come to cut my grass and do it halfway right and my bushes are still an eye sore. This isnt the first or 2nd time this happened. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU CARE ABOUT HOW YOUR LAWN WILL LOOK. Update: my backyard looks even worse. Theres a whole section that wasnt cut at all! Im complately done with this company.
