We hired North Georgia Landscape to do a project in our backyard and ultimately it ended with us being very disappointed. While some of the work was done well, there were quite a few challenges we faced during the project and several more after the project was completed. Based on our experience, the company really struggles with customer service, responsiveness, communication and trust. Needless to say, we will not be using them in the future. Update based on owners comments below Hi Jeremy, Ive been more than patient and reasonable. I provided an honest review of our experience with you and your company. While the sod issue you mentioned is a big one, it certainly is not the only challenge we had working with your company. Ultimately, if the job was done properly, we wouldnt have had these issues. Or if we could have gotten a valid solution after first reporting the issue in early July, we would not have had to pay additional money to another company to try to fix the issues in OCTOBER with seeding. When you visited my house right after the seeding was done , you made no reference to my warranty being nullified after we seeded, encouraged me to seed more and offered to provide replacement sod if we were still unhappy several months later. It was only when I called you to collect on your promise and/or my warranty that you claimed the warranty is nullified, and you would do nothing to help. With regard to your claim that our warranty is nullified as SPECIFICALLY STATED IN YOUR QUOTE, INVOICE AND CONTRACT.... I have reviewed these documents with my attorney and neither he nor I can find anything that states this. Despite my extremely negative experience, Im willing to be even more reasonable and if you can provide me via email the language that shows my warranty is void Id be more than happy to admit fault and update my review accordingly. I look forward to hearing from you.

I had been a loyal customer with NGLM for the past few years, but I was incredibly disappointed with their work, lack of responsiveness, and unprofessionalism lately. First, I had received a complaint from my neighbor and notice from my HOA about a couple months ago, saying that said neighbor had issues with NGLM blowing leaves and whatnot from my yard into her front yard. It had reached a point where her landscaper was threatening to quit on her because of the extra work they had to deal with. Second, I received an email from NGLM on May 31, 4:59 pm stating they would no longer be providing services to residential properties, effective as of June 1. I was incredibly disappointed because as a loyal customer of a few years, shouldnt I be given at least a couple days notice instead of being notified the afternoon before? I checked all the past emails I received from them to see if I had missed anything, but there were none. Third, NGLM had been increasingly unresponsive over the past few months. I would often reach voicemail, and rarely receive a timely response. Also, after receiving the last email about termination, I reached out to them by email and by phone because I wanted clarification. Unfortunately, there was no response whatsoever to my email or my voicemail. I understand if NGLM makes the decision to no longer service residential properties. However, this doesnt excuse poor service, unprofessionalism, and lack of responsiveness.

You have to really stay on them to do what they are supposed to do.

This gentleman came to my house to check on our front yard. We wanted to have them install new grass and treat our lawn the entire year. After spending time with us, they (Eddy) were supposed to send me an email with the quote so we could close on the deal. This gentleman never emailed me anything and replied my text inquiring about the quote 2 days later saying he would send me the quote. Needless to say, he never sent me the quote and lost a potential great customer. At the end of the day, was probably a good thing, imagine having to deal with someone so unprofessional year-round.

We had the folks at NGLM come to our house to add drainage in the front yard and level and sod the area we had removed a giant maple tree. Not only did they show up on time, but the workers were kind, clean and respectful. The work they did was absolutely top notch and there wasnt any mess left or issue to deal with later. It gets no easier than this, just call, schedule, and they show up and do amazing work at a fair price. If I could give 10 stars I would. Well done everyone!

I use NGLM at my current apartment community in Decatur and they are amazing! The grounds have never looked so good and is weed free which is big for me and the owners of the property! Would absolutely recommend them!

I really took the time to read reviews to pick a place that seemed highly recommended. I booked a consultation appointment for yesterday at 4 PM (and paid the $150 deposit ahead of time) and had to block time on my work calendar to be around. I called them at 3 PM to make sure they are still coming at 4pm and they said oh whoops we cannot make it today can we come tomorrow at 2 PM. Sure. 2 PM rolls around today and I don t see anyone so I called them back and they say Oh my bad... I didn t notice that the guy coming to your house today texted me an hour ago and he cannot make it...can we move it to next week? Completely unprofessional with no regard to someones time, and would not be shocked I will run into the same issue trying to get my deposit back.

He created a pleasant atmosphere where I could express my thoughts , he interjected with his knowledge and professionalism at just the right moments. We decided on a plan ,but left room for change.
