Let me start by saying that I did a lot of research before selecting a landscaping service to install my new lawn. I chose Todd and All Star Landscaping based on positive Google reviews and the positive first meeting with Todd Harmon. I felt confident that he could do a great job. I chose to have a zoysia lawn based on the sun exposure on my property, which was installed in April. Let s start with the lot/sod prep. The equipment Todd used was new to him (according to Todd) and the leveling of the yard as well as the topsoil dressing was not done correctly resulting in a very bumpy surface. The tilling was not deep enough and not nearly enough topsoil was used for the prep. Also, he did not dig down the surface near the driveway and curb to install the sod resulting in the sod standing above the grade of the driveway causing excessive drying on the edges and an overall bad look. Much of the zoysia sod that Todd installed was bad or diseased and after 3 months, much has died or really struggling to survive. There are some patches that look good while other squares dead despite scheduled watering and fertilizing (by the book!). Todd said he was going to come by and assess the situation however, he has never come by and now he refuses to take my calls or return texts. He has left me high and dry. Don t I normally give bad reviews, but feel compelled in the situation as this was just an overall bad customer experience all the way around. I would go another way if you are considering All Star.

Great work an an excellent price. Removed an old destroyed French drain system and replaced with new. Will absolutely use Todd again for any landscape needs.

I have been so pleased with Todd and his workmanship! He has been doing my weekly lawn maintenance, and it s been such a treat to have a beautiful yard! He is responsive, easy to work with, and very professional.

We hired Todd to perform some early spring trimming, install new plantings and perform regular lawn maintenance. At the outset we were pleased, but within the first 45-60 days the new plantings in both front beds and rear pool area were failing to survive despite regular watering, and Todd had to discontinue lawn maintenance due to staffing shortfalls. We more recently asked him to resolve the failed plantings by replacing some of those that died (likely due to the wrong species planted in an area that is in full sun) with a different plant that might be more suitable. He was unwilling to guarantee his work and replace the scrubs that died. That said, we will engage a landscaper who stands by their work and recommendations for plantings and who can fulfill their contractual obligations.

All Star quoted us a reasonable price and was able to do the job in a short turnaround. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and will be glad to use them again!

Reliable, Good Job, Fair Price

I called for service on Tuesday afternoon and needed my yard mowed by 12:00 noon the next day. Todd told me he would be there around 10:20 and he was. Met him for the first time and it was as though I had known him forever. He asked me what I needed done and he delivered. He is a very organized person, very clean, courteous, polite, professional, and he was concerned very much about my feelings in making my yard look beautiful, and his price was very reasonable. I have already requested for him to come back again.

We had Tod come out to do our lawn at our new house. Our back yard was nice but definitely needed to updating to get to a visually appealing outcome. Our yard was trimmed, had some needles removed, and changed it for bark chips. I can home to a beautiful back yard. I contacted All Star Landscape to install pine straw on my property. I only work with BBB rated companies so All Star Landscape was one of the companies I requested a quote from. The pricing was fair and I appreciated how the quote was broken down to explain what was included in the services provided. The pinestraw was installed today and I can tell that the pinestraw was spread evenly and thoroughly covers all areas where it was needed. Todd did a walk through to show me the work once it was completed to be sure everything met to my satisfaction which it did.
