This was, I think, roughly two years ago but I'm shopping for a new lawn care service and saw this company so thought I owed a review. I was pleased enough with their service until they did a "fall lawn rejuvenation service", or at least I think that's what they called it. Their business practice was to send a letter in the mail stating that a non-reply was implied consent to proceed with the service (that's right, if they don't hear anything...they assume your consent). Well, if I received this letter, I must have assumed it was junk mail because I never read it. They did the treatment, which I assumed was part of my contract, but then I received a $350 (if memory serves correct) bill. I objected, and they said they would remove from my bill. I then receive a bill for 1/2... I ultimately paid and terminated my contract because this whole "implied consent if we don't hear anything" is SUCH an intentionally unethical business practice that I decided I couldn't do business with this company.
Complete Lawn put in a sprinkler system about 15 or more years ago. Rusty one of the owners designed the system. He was from Arlington and went to Yorktown HS the same time I went to WL HS. They have been maintaining the system over the years. I have found everyone to be professional, reasonable in price. Very happy and would recommend this company.
I've used complete lawn since I purchased my house 20 years ago! The previous owner did and the lawn looked so good we kept the service. This past year I had them do lawn cutting and leaf removal in addition to the 7 visit lawn care program. Very good company.
We've been using this family owned company for more than 30 years. That says everything you need to know about the quality of the work and the personal service we get whenever we have a question. Neighbors envy how good our yard looks. The last two years I've also been using the mowing service and, while not the least expensive, the work is done right.
We have been Complete Lawn Service clients for a little over 5 years now. We have been in our house for 34 years and used several other top name lawn service companies. No one has come close to Complete Lawn for the healthy, green, fullness of our lawn. It has never looked better. We are so glad we gave Complete Lawn a try. It has paid off and we could not be happier. We looked forward to our lawn looking this good for many more years to come.
As a long time customer of Complete Lawn Service, I cannot say enough times how satisfied I am with the quality of their work. My family first started using CLS in the 1980’s (that sounds so last Century…). I have been using them at my house since 1994. They took what was mostly crab grass, weeds and moss and turned my yard into the envy of the neighborhood. People have actually stopped their cars to ask what we do to have such a wonderful lawn. Once we had CLS install the sprinkler system, our lawn and beds have continued to flourish without me having to get up at dawn to water. I have recommended CLS throughout our neighborhood and I know they have installed at least two other sprinkler systems, maintain at least another two they didn’t install, and handle the yard maintenance for at least four other families. I also use CLS on properties I manage. Their entire staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and if needed, you can speak with the Owner should there be a problem. Complete Lawn Service is a locally owned and operated family business that knows the meaning of customer service and loyalty. They are definitely worth the call!
Complete Lawn Service installed my sprinkler many years ago (back in 2002) and have been servicing it ever since. Great service; great "can do" attitude; always professional and always on time. And the Ownersipa dn staff at the Main Office likewise are a delight to work with.
I have been a customer for more then 20 yrs, complete lawn has done numerous jobs on my property and each time their work has been top of the line. This year I had some health problems so I had them do everything on the property and I was very happy with the job so much that I will have them continue with their work in the years to come. I would advise other people to use them.

spent several days back and forth trying to set up an estimator to come out. Finally the day comes, Im leaving work early for the appointment and they tell me they dont do residential lawns in my area. Wow. what a waste of time. so unprofessional.
This review is for customer service not actual service because it turned out when I called about winterizing, that I live too far from them to be a client. But I think his name was Rusty or Russ (I m sorry, I forgot), he took my name and number and offered to call back with referrals for companies that cover my area. He called back 10 minutes later with two referrals. It was so professional and courteous of him to take time to help out someone who s not his own customer that I have to give him props here in a review. Thank you!

Help us clear our driveway during the snow storm, took a bit to get out to us and it wasnt cheap but understandably they were extremely busy with such a load of snow that we all got hit with. Really appreciated the help.
We had a terrible customer service experience with Complete Lawn. After being pleased with their lawn care and attention, they admittedly made an accounting error in prepayment of annual services and tried to stick me for an additional payment. This was despite the fact that a representative of their company gave me a specific $ amount for a year of services. I tendered payment (which they cashed-and the cancelled check states that it was for prepay) based on their representation. I have never in all my years of dealing with contractors had a company quote me a price, I paid the price, and then halfway through a service agreement tell me We made a mistake, you actually owe us X. But the implications were much more severe: they implied that i was dishonest, that I was not a worthy enough customer that they would eat the cost, and put me and my spouse through several days of emailing/phone calls over a few hundred dollars. Finally, we had no choice but to terminate the agreement. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer (one who paid on time over multiple contracts) in my life. I was absolutely shocked at the unethical treatment.
Thanks to Complete Lawn, year over year neighbors and passer-bys complement us on our lawn and yard. Complete Lawn has the magic touch. They keep it looking healthy, green and lush. All we do is mow and edge it.
Complete lawn service is an outstanding landscaping company. They come at the time their scheduled to appear they are very neat and orderly and their attacking the problems of RF landscaping and they finish quickly and always leave us a message that they have been here we cannot recommend them to highly
We have been using Complete Lawn for our sprinkler system for several years. Always excellent and prompt service. Based on our past experience with the sprinkler system, we have added their annual lawn care services.
Been servicing my house for 3 years now and let me know when they are coming and have no weeds and very green grass.. Had a competitor for several years and have seen noticeable difference. They have also replaced several sprinkler heads and tech is always very sure they all point and spray where they are supposed to. Mike

I have used Complete Lawn Service for my irrigation system. They have performed all types of service from installation, to repair, spring and fall service. The employees are reliable, polite, professional and on time. When thay schedule an appointment time they are here. I have recommended them to neighbors and would highly recommend them.
CLS has been servicing my sprinkler system for 15 years. I have been very happy with their work. They have been very flexible in scheduling appointments and responded quickly in dealing with emergency problems.
I had a lawn that was a complete mess. Mostly weeds and compacted soil and dead grass. I was skeptical when Complete Lawn Service went to work. They removed the old grass and reseeded. It was the fall and I was convinced Id have a winter of a dirt yard. Days went by. After a few weeks I had a lush new lawn -- in October! And all winter it was as green as summer. Suffice to say I was impressed. And so were my neighbors.
