Good gardening company

Sometimes you dont even need to use a business to know they care about their customers and the community within which they operate. This is true of Landed. We live on a narrow street in Del Ray and often cars have to pull to the side to let other cars get down the street. Unfortunately our side of the street has no sidewalk, just a low curb and then our lawn. So, yesterday, a truck from Landed was being nice and let another car down the street by pulling over. However, he jumped the curb and left a muddy rut in our lawn. We called the business to let them know. We were called back immediately by a very friendly man named Austin who assured us he would be out the next day to repair the damage. Lets just say I was shocked when I went to walk my dog only to find Austin actually there to repair the damage! I dont think I can remember a time when a company was more accountable or committed (with their actions) then these guys. In these days of computerized phone menus and scripted customer service people, its heart warming to know this area has local businesses that still believe in doing the right thing. I would hire these guys in a second based solely on the fact that they kept their word and did the right thing -- even without getting paid. Thanks Landed.

Landed has done an excellent job with landscaping and hardscaping. They installed a new paver patio and redid my front walkway and steps. Landed has also designed and installed new landscaping in my front yard. It all looks beautiful. My account manager, Alex is very responsive. They were fast and efficient and on budget. One of my new trees didn t make it through the summer but they replaced it free and quickly. I highly recommend them for landscaping and hardscaping.

We are thrilled to be able to provide an outstanding recommendation/review for Landed. After interviewing 3 other companies to complete a total overhaul for landscaping and hardscaping our front and back yards, we quickly realized our decision to sign with Landed was the right one for us. Their knowledge expertise, professionalism and ability to listen were so important to us. Our project manager Drew Newton met several times with us to design the areas....each time we met, his main focus was to make sure WE felt he was meeting OUR goals with his design! Of course we were open and appreciative of his expert opinion also. Once the work began, his crew worked steadily and efficiently . Both Drew and the owner Aaron shared oversite of the crew and project. The crew was excellent! They were always on time, cleaned up at the end of each day and willingly reworked things if changes needed to be made. We look forward to Spring blooming and love the fact that with an irrigation system, our plantings are guaranteed for 2 years . Overall, we would recommend Landed without reservation...... you may pay more than other companies but you get what you pay for and it was well worth every penny!!!

We recently renovated and wanted to switch from a large deck to a patio - Landed worked with us to determine the right dimensions and materials to meet our needs. We were able to do a slate patio that will be low maintenance, and with a beautiful built in firepit that s a custom size to fit our solo stove. They were meticulous in the building of the patio, and the finished product really shows. And they were able to do the asphalt driveway repairs and have a crew enclose our fencing for us all in the same job. Really full service! And for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend

We selected Landeds team of professionals to transform our yard and they did not disappoint. OD, senior landscape designer, listened to our vision and brought it to fruition. He and the crew were willing to adjust as we changed midstream. We would highly recommend them for any hardscape or landscaping projects you have.

My wife and I were looking to do an overhaul of our existing landscaping and hardscaping. We also wanted to add immediate privacy in our back yard as we recently had two large trees removed. After speaking with a few other landscaping companies, it was clear Landed was the best fit. Drew was great to work with from the start. His experience and education showed immediately as we walked the property and he came up with ideas. Then we were impressed with the extensive landscape design and plan that he came up with so we could visualize the transformation. He clearly knows his stuff when it comes to all the different types of trees, plants, and flowers. They also helped us with repairing permeable pavers that we had installed years ago. They may not have been the least expensive choice, but I believe that you get what you pay for. Drew was also very patient with me when it came to making decisions to accomplish our goals. In the end, it showed that he just wanted us to be happy with the results.

Great experience with OD Dalton at Landed. Very pleased with design, which is suited to our 100+ house. (He also designed a yard for a friend who has a new very modern house.) OD was very knowledgeable about about horticulture in general and about each selection he recommended, and also flexible to to address changes we suggested. The design met the criteria we provided, addressed challenges in our yard, including changes in elevation and compatibility with existing design. OD and staff worked quickly; everything was done with care, and attention to details including clean up. Highly recommend.

I should have left earlier. Overpromise and underdeliver. Good communication but very poor implementation. TOO MANY MISTAKES! My newly planted shrubs for privacy have been chopped twice drastically 20 each time by accident within the first few months of planting. I purchased the tallest skip laurels available so you can imagine my frustration as they kept getting SHORTER rather than taller. Only apology was offered and I don t understand why my crew did this. I have told them not too trim anything on your property unless asked ... Prior to that my artificial turf was melted in two spots. It took some effort for them to accept the responsibility and 4 more months to replace a patch that added an extra seem in my lawn. Other things kept going wrong too. I have hired this company based on their branding and good talking/persuasive skills of the manager.

In May 2020, we worked with Landed and OD Dalton to undertake a complete redesign of our front yard. OD spent time with us to understand what we wanted the final product to be, and he attentive to details of color, texture and seasonal interest. His creativity and horticultural knowledge resulted in a gorgeous front yard tableau. We have spent the past few months enjoying our yard from our front porch, as have our neighbors and frequent passersby who stop and comment our landscaping. Thanks, Landed!

I ve been a customer for about 6 months and I ve been very impressed. I ve worked closely with Alex to improve and enhance my landscaping. He s knowledgeable and offers well designed suggestions and options to meet my goals. We are also utilizing Landed for regular lawn service and maintenance. I have had 2 great experiences with Landed. They really listen to what you want, they know their plants, and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I originally hired them to dig a new garden bed in the front and plant a variety of native plants. Their knowledge of species and their care was excellent, and NO MULCH VOLCANOS! One of the trees died for a unknown reason, and they were wonderful about replacing it the following spring. I then hired them back to dig up some buried junk from our backyard. The workmen were so pleasant and even explained to my curious kids what they were doing. And for all this, their price is quite reasonable. Couldnt recommend them more highly!

I had a total re-landscaping in the front yard at a rental townhome. While my job was very small Landed Landscapes treated it as if it were just as important as any large scaled project they would undertake. The owner and Lexie, the landscape architect, showed up to get the workmen started and oversee that all went well. Lexie was there at completion to assure that I was pleased with the outcome. The choice of plantings were perfect and their prices were very competitive. I would highly recommend them and intend to use them for issues at my own home in the future.

We worked with Landed to do a complete design and installation of our landscaping for our new home. The results were beautiful and well planned. The crew could do it all - stone work, planting, transplanting, design. We have received frequent compliments and referral requests from neighbors wanting to create a similar look for their home. We used Landed for a pretty extensive re-imagining of our front and back yards of our new house. The previous owners had gone for a more natural look, and we were looking for something cleaner and less cluttered. We also needed our deck rebuilt. All steps of the process, from the design, to the communication, to the execution were above expectations. We are so pleased with the curb appeal and the newly usable space in the back yard, as well as just looking at our yard from the deck or even from the windows. We knew there was a lot of potential when we first looked at the place, but Landed helped make it better than we d hoped.

We recently hired Landed to install a 30x5 foot walkway as well as four columns on the front porch. The crews were skilled, hardworking and cleaned up every day. I contacted Landed to see about the possibility of building a retaining wall in front of our home. They were wonderful to work with! They came within two days to give us an estimate, and were able to complete our job in a timely manner (sooner than anticipated!!). The quality of the work was superb, the finished product was beautiful, and weve received numerous compliments on the wall. Aaron and company have a great crew; wed hire them again anytime! Definitely money well spent!

Landed helped me surprise my husband for his birthday with the installation of a new outdoor kitchen! Their customer service was great and included helping me select the best grill, sink, storage options, stone, and countertop. They were prompt, professional, and created an outdoor space that exceeded our expectations. They did such good work that we worked with them again to install a driveway with pavers that matched our sidewalk and kitchen. Highly recommend!

Weve used Landed for several projects, both to reclaim our green space and for several hardscaping projects, including a patio, retaining wall and our most recent stone stairway addition. Working with Landed has been effortless every time - they have amazing designers, great follow-up and the execution/craftsmanship is spot on. Even the mailman said Awesome! These are the best stairs Ive ever seen, and Ive seen a lot of stairs! Totally worth the investment.
