"BUT THE WARRANTY IS EXPIRED, SO I'M GOING TO HAVE TO CHARGE YOU LABOR TO REDO THAT." The warranty structure is problematic: 1-year labor/installation, 20-year material. Albuquerque's climate takes its toll on everything due to hot summers and cold winters. But, it doesn't happen within a single year, so the installation warranty doesn't provide value in the price. A few years down the road you'll call for an issue, and a salesperson will come look at your green and tell you it needs to be COMPLETELY pulled up and stretched and nailed back down, "but the warranty is expired so I'm going to have to charge you for labor." Then, when you tell them that's ridiculous, they say they'll have to check with their manager who will never call back. The material itself will outlast the customer since it's made of plastic that doesn't decompose for thousands of years. The installation and initial result was good, but left that feeling of overpaying once you realize it needs professional upkeep. There should be a longer warranty or some maintenance included to ensure an overhaul sales pitch isn't necessary down the road. I'm disappointed that I referred this company to my neighbors and I hope they don't have any issues with what they bought. The company doesn't seem to value customer satisfaction after their warranty expires, and you WILL need something in the future.
We got the Synlawn for our dog and to make our space in that area of our yard more attractive. The whole process was smooth and professional. It was a great experience!

We are very happy with our Synlawn turf. They were very patient with us as we kept changing our minds. They were very helpful. Armando and his crew did an amazing job. Highly recommend them. And, it’s nice to not have to mow and to help under the severe lack of rain in our state.
Project completed precisely as per initial sketch/diagram. When work was completed, the area was blow dried, sidewalk swept, and even a complementary doormat placed at my front door from the leftover pieces. Workers were polite and professional. Beautiful improvement for my yard and the dog loves it also.
From start to finish, our experience with SynLawn was amazing! Our sales rep, Dan was super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He helped us pick out the best lawn type for our needs and he and his team came up with a great plan for the layout of the space. The installation itself went smoothly and was completed in about 7 hours. The landscaping team was on time, professional, and did a fantastic job. I have shared some before and after photos here and what a transformation! We will be booking them again for a paver project in the near future and have been raving about them to all of our friends. What do you do when your dog ruins your lawn? We put in a putting green with SynLawn and are thrilled with the results! Our contractor was precise with the start and completion of our project. Our installers (Armando and crew) worked through a storm we got in late Feb 2022 and did an amazing job. We highly recommend SynLawn for any of your landscaping projects.
These guys are the real deal. Dan was phenomenal, very knowledgeable and treated us with respect. Alejandro the foreman was terrific and so was his crew. The office was always on point with scheduling and questions. Don't be fooled by cheaper turf and installers that don't know how to blend seams. You get what you pay for.......this is the Pro-80 around 2500 sf.
SYNLAWN was great to work with as Juan the crew leader and his crew were on time and keep the project clean every day. Dan was great to work with and really explained every detail of the project. We are so happy with finished product and our dogs are having a blast on all the new turf! We highly recommend SYNLAWN and their pet friendly products! Just had another 1000 sq ft of turf with SYNLAWN and absolutely happy with Eugene and the crew that installed it. From start to finish a first class job!

They did an amazing job on the lawn, and made some little additions to really make it perfect. I would perhaps compare prices with other companies, but their prices seemed fair to me.

Dangerous driver in the white ram, almost ran us off the road on Alameda today. Top that off speeding in a school zone, no use of turn signals and active cell phone use. No wonder why that truck is so damaged and falling apart. If that reflects your work I hope people see this and think twice about it
The crew did a great job, always on time, we are very satisfied. We had poor experience with another installer but Synlawn got it corrected and it turned out perfect. Highly recommended. Be careful who you choose.
Excellent experience starting with Dan Morrisette, sales and with Juan, Crew Leader. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in converting to Synthetic grass. Please note: Juan and his crew were exceptionally good at what they do and very gracious.

I really enjoy having sales presentations and product presentations done at my house. My wife and I were less than impressed with Syn lawn. Not personable. Very regurgitated and cheesy. Prices for synthetic lawn can t be the same, or higher, than nice interior flooring. We had real hardwood floors installed for less per square foot than we were quoted by these people. Competition is good because it benefits the consumers by forcing lower prices. There is no reason these products should be priced this high, it s absurd. I m not going to pay that sum of money because the salesman told me the grass is FDA approved and edible. Or has more organic content than taco meat. You re kidding me right?

I endorse this great locally owned business wholeheartedly. My mother has Synlawn in her yard and it looks brand new after 20 years. Daniel came out several times to answer my questions and help me create a beautiful backyard and stay within my budget. The crew that installed the yard, during the COVID-19 pandemic made a huge error and did not insert a soil barrier in the raised flower beds. The owner of the company went above and beyond to make it right. He sent out a large crew and they redid it to perfection. I am so happy with the job they did. I highly recommend this company to create and implement a gorgeous yard with pavers, raised flower beds and of course the green grass that uses zero water.
SynLawn of Albuquerque just installed our a new backyard to include small retaining wall for our elevated area where the fruit trees are, and it is beautiful. We have 2 very rambunctious pups and they already love it. Albuerto, Juan, Hilgilberto (sp) were very nice, professional and quite funny. They answered my questions and were very respectful of our home and neighbors. I came to enjoy their company while they worked. They are pricey but considering the investment we make in our homes , it was well worth it!!! As a full landscaping company, I recommend them to add to your investment.
Dan Morrisette came to my home and evaluated my area and listened to my priorities and how I wanted to use the area. He was able to quickly draw up ideas and discussed final details. The crew led by Lalo (Gildardo , Juan and Lane) were very efficient and knowledgeable on the process and kept me up to date on the steps and work that was to be done daily. My dog loved making new friends with the team and loved his new play area. I have enjoyed relaxing days with my beautiful area that will be easy to maintain with the Synlawn and drip system for the plants. The area will allow me to have space to entertain guest & family. I highly recommend this company and crew.

Bought a remnant from them and got it for a great price and the product looks beautiful.
It was a small job, only 1300 sq. ft. but the installation was done with great care, on time. Everyone I dealt with at Synlawn was courteous, professional, and interested in doing a good job. Thank you for putting the finishing touch on my courtyard.

SYNLAWN is a 5 STAR business, period! Weve had several home projects going on for the past 4 months. Out of 5 different Albuquerque - based businesses, SYNLAWN stands far above the rest. In fact, they cant be compared in relation to their professionalism, teamwork, efficiency, knowledge, HONESTY, hard work, and their finished work is undeniably everything they told us it would be. We had old artificial turf removed and new turf put down. Part of our cement patio was removed as well. Our first contact at home was Dan Morrissette who proved to be a very articulate, and well prepared rep. He brought samples with him and we were able to see, hands on, the variety of turfs SYNLAWN offers and manufactures. That impressed us beyond measure and we didnt feel rushed in the process of narrowing down our choice of turf for 2 different areas. Dan was so enthusiastic, positive and engaging. He dazzled us with his knowledge and command of his employer and products. Dan sold us! In addition, their work crew of three (3) was just as impressive. We were amazed at their work ethics. They were friendly, hardworking and always on time for 3 straight days. The finished product was beyond our expectations. Immaculate work that left us smiling and very content knowing we had picked a business that was DEPENDABLE. , Lindsey was our go-to contact on the phone and shes a gem. She always answered our questions with patience and congeniality. She exudes confidence and friendliness on the phone and left us feeling like we were in good hands throughout the project. Last, Lindsey mailed us an aftercare treatment manual for the continued maintenance of the turf. We are having SYNLAWN back to lay Flagstone on our patio. would not recommend or use them again.....from right when my grass was installed it was wrong......and even though it comes with a warranty i have not received a call after emailing them twice.....so buyer beware....they dont really back up their product....so i will have these 2 lines for a long time....not happy at all....they even came out to see it for themselves but still nothing
I have used Synlawn New Mexico several times over the past 15 years. Best investment weve ever made! We landscaped our backyard (15 years ago), and put in a small area (1000 ft2) of a high end synlawn product. We let them install it - they were professional, courteous, quick and have excellent customer service. We have large dogs and kids that have played on it for 15 years, never a weed, no more mud, and never a problem. We used to spend the weekends mowing, weeding, and trying replace grass from where the dogs killed it. Now, a leaf blower cleans this up in about 20 min. We love it. We now spend our time enjoying hiking, rafting and other activities, and the yard looks fantastic, and is more usable for many activities. We are so happy with it, we had them come back and install another section of turf this summer in another area of the yard. Another great experience with a professional installation crew. I no longer spend huge amounts of money on water, and have been given back the gift of more leisure time. A great investment.
