These guys were amazing! They made an appointment to come see the yard and showed on time, then have me a quote on the spot. Then they made another appointment for the actual service and the team showed up on time and just went above and beyond on cleaning up my yard. They did stuff that they didnt even need to do and my yard looks great! They pulled out all the weeds, trimmed bushes, cut down dead trees, weed whacked and mowed the grass, and raked up all the pinecones, pine needles, leaves, dead flowers, and sweet gum balls. Thank you guys!

It is with great regret that I have to give a negative review for Cut-N-Up Lawn Care and Landscape. My initial experience with the owner was great and I was happy with the results of my paved patio until about 2 to 3 weeks later when a few of the pavers on each corner became loose and rocky. I contacted the owner (Jeremy) who claimed that he would come out and take a look at the problem. Needless to say, he did not show up and has not responded to any of my messages since. I am very disappointed and would think that the company would guarantee their work and make sure the project is done correctly and the customer is happy. This was an expensive investment which I paid in full upon completion. As I stated earlier, my initial interaction with the owner/company and view of the project was great. It is the follow-up or the lack thereof I am deeply disappointed with. I had planned on using them for future projects, but unfortunately based on this experience I will not be using them again. Follow-up response 5/29/2024: I am happy to say that the above issue was resolved in an efficient and professional manner. This is a great lawn care company. They were quick and precise. I had a very over grown yard. I could not cut it, that is how high it was. They came out and knocked it out for me. There prices are reasonable as well. Will definitely use them again!

The quote was higher and for less service than Better Lawn and Garden. I needed cuts and weed control in one package. Maybe Cut N Up should put together a more economical package deal.

I would recommend being EXTREMELY clear with what you are asking for before letting them start. We hired this company to clean out and get rid of a bunch of overgrowth that had gotten out of control on one side of our house. He quoted me about $8k. This included a retaining wall, pallet of sod, and debris haul-off so let s say about $3-4k for the actual clean out. All he did was mow it down and cover with it with pine straw and then tried to gaslight us into believing that was all we asked for. So, at best, we paid this company $3k to mow our lawn. It s one month later now and it s all growing back through the pine straw and I m outside with a rake and a shovel trying to dig it up by hand.

Started this Summer. I had used different companies for cutting than spraying etc. results were not good. Having one company do it all is amazing and my yard looks great. No need to call and ask when they will come out because they always show up. Super happy and I highly recommend them!

Cut-N-Up performed hedge work, put down new mulch, removed bushes, and cleaned all debris. The work was done timely and looked great. They also did a great job removing and cleaning all left over debris. They were great and I would use again.

This is the most amazing company I have ever seen or hired. I have a huge yard with the whole back area only on a steep hill with a creek at the bottom I have never seen in all my years in this house. It was like machines worked in those massive woods on a steep hill but were 4 men with chain saws working all day long. They cleared and removed everything to a wonderful view I never ever saw before. Can t even begin to tell you the shock on my face and other neighbors and people that have come here just to see. All I could do was brag and they could not believe their eyes either.Was a massive job.i also have a huge natural area that is so cleaned and perfect the best it can be done because of the wash area down that him into rock, trees, underbrush, limbs, you couldn t even see the ground. Ever! Those men worked so hard and cleaned really the world to me. I had side bushes/crepe myrtles I wanted sawed to the grown to kill. Opened the whole they cleaned. Really all the way from my side to the other side of property. Just amazing and still don t know how they did what they did. I see the beautiful creek from the top of the hill in my yard down that hill. They cut and trimmed my bushes in my flowers beds too in the front. . I also had bushes growing on the other side of my house I wanted murdered and sawed to the ground. They had these terrible long arms growing that would have wrapped around my deck. Killed and sprayed everywhere and please remember this is a huge yard, area, very hard downhill woods just gone. Really really beautiful I never knew they were capable of to do. I have rif raff which is rocks to hold the hill area up from falling down the with cross ties also on the other side perfectly clean and sprayed. Basically everywhere as it has to be done and kept up. Cut n Up, Jeremy Carter, a wonderful man to deal with and his amazing crew. If you would love to see as cars can from the side road that horrible hill mess is gone. But back to the huge natural that always just grew weeds as it is a wash area and can t put anything there to make it nice like pine star or mulch because it will wash away. But even has been a terrible problem for people that can see like looking at the from of my house.jeremy tells his crew what to do without him even there to instruct them again what they are there for. I can t possibly explain the massive work they as they were told. An unbelievable job they did. Like I moved my whole house somewhere else. They are coming back to out mulch for wetness as my whole front of my house is sun blasted all day long. They moved 4 bushes from the top Of a hill by the side road I planted many years ago that couldn t grow or produce the beautiful flowers they are. Lace Hydrangeas. Jeremy can stand and tell you so quickly how to do just little things yourself and shoes me. They were very reasonable and the terrible hard work they had ahead them, really a nightmare I never dreamed could happen. They will be my wonderful company forever coming and spraying weeds and tree growth they worked so hard to achieve. I could go on and on repeating myself from my own shock. And others too that saw what they did. You would to have had to have seen to even come near they did. So whatever you hire this company to do, absolutely can do anything with landscape, I am living proof.you would never ever regret hiring them. Most never had the horror I did but taken care of period and perfectly.These men that work for him care about their quality of work without supervision and all day long in the heat until the day is gone. 8am to 5 pm when they left. Just a little left for the mess they knocked out in no time the short early morning.My whole area is spotless they cut and cleaned. Had a huge trailer from 2 loads of nothing but woods, plus other bushes and lots of other areas. Ideas for perfectly plantings bushs and flowers in your yard, planting them, know what to plant and where. I had 4 men with chain saws struggling on that hill machines would do and not humans. all I can say is thank God he sent them to me.

We contacted Cut-n-Up about clearing a bunch of roots and stumps that were left after we had the brush cut down. They were fantastic to work with. I live on a 2-acre estate lot in a large log home in Alabaster, and over the years the woods have encroached to the point where sunlight was no longer getting to the yard. Furthermore, the acreage looked small because so much of it was wooded, and my wife really wanted it to have an open feeling again. I spent time researching landscapers in the Birmingham/Hoover/Helena/Alabaster area, and the one name that kept appearing was Jeremy from Cut-N-Up Lawncare & Landscape. After reading 95 reviews from various jobs, I called him up and had him come over. When he arrived, I told him I had read all of his reviews, and was sufficiently confident that he could do any job I asked of him, and that it would be very pleasing in the end. What I said, however, was Jeremy - if this was YOUR property, and you would do anything you needed to please your wife, what would your vision for this property be? Jeremy took a look around, asked for 30 minutes to do some planning, and then called us back out. He proceeded to give us a vision of what the property could look like. It included bringing down some trees (including a big 120-foot red oak) and clearing out some undergrowth on the front and sides to open it up to let the sunlight back in. Then the discussion moved to the lawn, watering system, the walkway, stones, plant beds, flowers, etc. All the while my wifes smile was getting bigger and bigger. Today Jeremy and his amazing team completed the job, and we are absolutely thrilled. Best decision we have made for this home, and I am looking forward to using his vision on the back half of the acreage. Amazing job. His quoted price was exactly what we paid - no more, no less (that was a big deal to me - I asked for no surprises, and he gave me his word and followed through.) Great company to work with, they installed a sprinkler system, leveled out yard, prepped for sod and laid the sod on roughly 3000 sqft. Jeremy was very professional and was able to point out ideas for our backyard as well as make sure every detail was accounted for to make sure we are able to enjoy our backyard with zero issues going forward.
