Rock Creek Irrigation & Landscapes in Aiken

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other 1 star reviews. I set up an appointment with Amanda, the designer assigned to work with me, for December 4th. Everything seemed to go very well. She informed us that she would have the estimate before Christmas. The company had work in the same neighborhood where I am building and I spoke with them and was pleased with their work and their responses. Comes the week of December 16th I call to verify we will still get the quote. I spoke with Jordan (again from the office) and she informed me that Monday the 23 would be the latest but she may make it by Friday. Needless to say I didnt receive it. I called on the 26th and asked about it and again Jordan said it will be soon but, her designs are a lot more time consuming and cannot be rushed. Considering our contractor s designs and the holiday season, she is backed up in that department. From my perspective, their designer must be challenged with time management and the communication from the company to the customer could use some work. I waited until near the end of today (January 3) and called again. I spoke with Jordan and there was no reason just having to wait. I said you do not need to wait any longer as I will not consider your quote. I asked to speak with someone there and was told (paraphrasing) I dont think I should be giving you any additional information. Have a nice day. goodbye. I was and continue to be unemotional. I wanted to pass on my experience and speak with them, Instead, I ended up writing another google review. There field workers may be great. The finished product may be great. However, I already know their communication is challenging. Their time management is questionable. When You are about to spend what I consider to be a large amount of money, I want better odds. For anyone re4adin this, how will this company get better if they do not get the opportunity to see what they put their potential customers through, Perhaps Jordan is one of the owners. I look at this as a good thing. I avoided spending my hard earned money on a company that apparently will not allow their frustrated prospective customer to speak with anyone in management. Rock Creek has a very professional staff, create masterpiece designs (Amanda is an absolute artist!), and have an open line of communication. The gorgeous attention to detail accompanied by their excellent work is why a five star review doesn t seem high enough.

We had Rock Creek complete our barn pad on a sloping yard and cant say enough about the communication (lots of my questions) and the focused work of their team. I contacted Rock Creek Irrigation services for a few commercial quotes and the company never replied. I had to call back many times just to get a hold of someone and then was finally told that they are not taking on any new work. I contacted this company because of the good reviews and figured they would be professional, I take it back.

Our overgrown yards and pastures had not been touched for 10 years before we bought and RockCreek has done a great job clearing, grading,seeding and placing an irrigation system. Very cost effective, prompt, courteous and professional. Follow up has been spot on as well.

Rock Creek Irrigation & Landscapes just completed a significant landscape and hardscape project for me in Woodside Plantation (existing home). The bottom line: I would highly recommend Rock Creek. One of the best home vendor experiences I have ever had. Their team is experienced (20 + years), customer focused/clear communicators, patient/attentive, friendly/kind, and above all results oriented/hard working. Their leadership team is incredibly smart, creative, and take pride in their work (Amanda Designer; Juan/Roberto Hardscape; Brandon Landscape). They took care and respected my home as it was theirs, which I appreciate. The details: I am relatively new to the Aiken area and when trying to source a Landscape Vendor it became clear there were a lot of subpar providers in the area. I did a lot of research and met with several Landscape Vendors (in person/virtual), and most were not attentive, nor had the follow through on questions or inquiries about their services. I also met with residents who have lived in Aiken all their life and ask for recommendations. It became clear if I wanted the job done right, then I would need Rock Creek. I am a tough grader... and yet from landscape design to final execution of the project, Rock Creek exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a landscape/hardscape vendor to make your project a reality, and want to have the assurance you are working with a trusted partner who is reliable, experienced and customer focused, then Rock Creek should be on the top of your list. When we reached out to Rock Creek our yard was in really bad shape with erosion problems that we knew had to be addressed above all else. My husband and I didn t even know where to begin to stop the erosion and turn our yard into a yard we could love and want to spend time in! Rock Creek sent their landscape designer, Amanda Owens, out for a consultation and that is when our journey began! This is the most customer/client centered company I have dealt with in a long time. Add that it s a family run, local company and all the good reviews online I read, made it an easy decision to hire them for the total renovation of our yard that we have been dreaming about for years. Throughout the project we had a lot of questions for Amanda and not once did we feel like our questions were trivial. She answered every text, email or phone call promptly, never left us without an answer! She calmed our worries and assured us it was going to be beautiful in the end! It was obvious to us that Rock Creek takes pride in their work and that their clients are their #1 priority and not just that the company does, but every employee does as well! Now 4 weeks later we have our dream yard, with the erosion fixed, a beautiful new Zoysia lawn, a gorgeous patio & walkway, and all new landscaping!! Rock Creek and their amazing team led by Amanda, along with Juan (hardscape) & Brandon (landscape) and their respective teams have given us the yard we have always wanted!! Kudos to Amanda with her beautiful design and her ability to keep the project on track and moving along despite the hiccups and all my questions! And to Juan and his hardscape team for creating our patio exactly to my vision as challenging as it was! And to Brandon with his landscape team that executed the landscape design to perfection!! Our yard was not easy and these guys worked really hard to make the design come to life for us despite all the hiccups! All their hard work is truly appreciated! We are very picky and the Rock Creek team really lived up to all of our expectations and we felt like they were every bit as invested in our yard as we were! And that is rare these days! We recently finished our house on Anderson Pond Road with Designer Builders (while still living in Colorado). Rock Creek is who Designer Builders worked with on the grading, landscaping, irrigation, paving, and more on our project. Designer Builders works with top-flight contractors, so our confidence level was high when creating our designs with Rock Creek. They did not disappoint. This was a big project with some unexpected challenges (huge rain requiring quick erosion control), but we could not be more pleased with the results. We definitely will work with Rock Creek on future projects. Also, they are a local family-run company with real knowledge of what plants, trees, and designs work in the region, which was very helpful when coming from a completely different climate. We do love the outcome and recommend Rock Creek highly.

Rock Creek did a small patio/walkway for us, and they did a great job! The guys worked so hard and cleaned up every day. We were very pleased with the results and would highly recommend using this business.

We highly recommend Rock Creek Irrigation & Landscaping. They communicated effectively, delivered the services they promised and showed up on time. They installed a putting green (after removing an old in-ground pool that was buried), installed irrigation, sod and a driveway. We had an additional project and they came with a quick and beautiful resolution. We have since hired them again for another landscaping project. Manse and the team have done an excellent job!

Rock Creek is a well run business. It is a small family run company, but the good news is that you get to deal with owner/employees who are invested in doing a good job from start to finish. Their bids are competitive, they show up when they say, they work all day, barring inclement weather, and they come back every day until the job is done. So far, they have installed 3 separate paver patio areas for us, regraded our long circular driveway and laid rock gravel, built several stone plant beds, and installed a paver walkway from driveway to front porch. All that work included ancillary moving of sprinklers, correcting drainage problems, new sod, laying foundations, cement work, etc. I would not hesitate to call on them again to do work for us. In a word they are dependable, and do a great job.

Manse and team have completed several projects for us including a patio, outdoor kitchen, outdoor fireplace, landscaping, drainage, and a gravel driveway. We have been incredibly happy with each project. Manse is great to collaborate with and he brought our ideas and design to life. He is always quick to return messages. After the projects were complete, Manse was always available for follow-up questions. We are now getting ready for our next hardscape project with Rock Creek. We highly recommend this team!

The Rock Creek Crew was efficient, professional and energized. My wife and I enjoy the work they did and their attention to detail. They made certain that the established plants were not disturbed and that the Pine Straw was refigured. They provided us with advice and guidance and if we should have any concerns to call them. Great work and nice people

Rock Creek did an excellent job on our yard in Aiken Estates. Always willing to come out and talk with us on our vision and worked hard to do everything we could within our budget. They redid our entire back yard from removing what we called a jungle to making it a quarter acre of beautiful grass. They had all the right equipment and crew to do the job quickly and effectivley. Very happy with our decision to use Rock Creek on our project!

Wonderful and responsive customer service. I, the small customer was treated like a large account. I had to call them back after installation and after I had already made payment. They passed my test! The same day of my call they responded. I will do another project with them.

Had these guys come out and do some landscaping at our new home. We had them come grade the front lot, put in railroad ties for the driveway, and carve out some rain channels to guide water away from our home due to a less than desirable grading job by the builder. Great guys, done in a day and a half. That night they finished Williston got slammed with a huge rain storm and sure enough their flood work saved my workshop and pad and everything we owned in our garage. See, we had just rushed and moved so everything we had wasnt in the house yet, it was just in the garage. SO, what do they do? Drive out in the rain as night is falling and walk through the trees and muck for an hour trying to find where the flow is coming from. When no one else would answer or even try to help us aside from the red cross (which wasnt necessary to that level) these guys came thru. Not all heroes wear capes. We will use this company for all of our landscaping work. The one picture was taken right before the rain and the second was with rain pouring for hours and flooding from a nearby farm their channels diverted the water around the house on both sides. Outstanding.

Started using Rock Creek last spring. They did such a fabulous job on my back patio that I hired them to install new grass. Manse made excellent recommendations on what type of grass would work in my shady area. I could not be more pleased with the result. So I hired them again to install a sitting area in my front yard, then put a retaining wall on the sloped side of my house. They recommended and installed new shrubs that really blended well with the exiting landscaping. Without asking, they modified my irrigation system to fit the new modifications. Ive been so pleased with their attention to detail and reasonable pricing that I plan to have them do even more work. Manse and his team are wonderful to work with, highly responsive to comments and requests, and extremely punctual.

We just hired Rock creek to do our regular yard work. Have been over the top pleased. Knowledgeable and professional. A great combination. They recently removed some magnolias and we will begin a process to fill the bare space. Cant wait to see what they come up with.

Was looking forward to working with these people but Unfortunately once they get your money they are Unresponsive and rude. Promise the world then disappear. Very disappointed how they handled the situation. They dont have the manpower or people skills

Rock Creek has done a fantastic job of getting my property, which was sadly neglected by another landscape company, back in shape. It is a large property and in two days, they had it looking really well. I highly recommend their efficient, communicative and friendly service.

Rock Creek did the original landscape plan and installation at my home 10 years ago. They have performed maintenance work and installed additional landscaping (pavers, palm trees, other plants and sod) for the 10 years I have been here. I have always been pleased and have used them on other properties as well.
