I am not completely satisfied. On the left side of my front lawn, there are some very obvious broadleaf weed growing in the lawn. I ve observed it since the last treatment, and now after the recent visit, the weeds are still as green as can be. Either the technician doesn t care or he is not doing a thorough job.

Have used Grass Roots for many years and they always have addressed any problems I might have. Recently, though, I feel their technician has not been as thorough as in the past. Part of my yard is not visible from the street or driveway and I feel it is often missed. That area has had more than usual weeds this year. The only way I have of being certain it was missed is when they apply granules that are visible on the grass. Yesterday was that case. I phoned Grass Roots and they have re-scheduled treatment which I appreciate, but should not have been necessary if technician was more thorough. I feel this area might have been missed all summer as granules are not always used and I cannot be sure about the treatment. This area has not been as plush and the rest of the yard. I do appreciate their rescheduling and the service is excellent.

This review has been updated. I have to say, I had a rocky start with GrassRoots. In fact, we had canceled the service. However, Chris the Operations Manager and Josh the owner both came by, called, and text and went all out to ensure the issues that we had were not only rectified but did everything to make things good going forward. I could tell Josh, specifically, wanted to make sure that they proved that any mistakes made were not the norm with them and they were going to make up for all issues and gain my trust going forward. For this I was very thankful. Unfortunately, companies make mistakes but how they address them is what makes some standout from the crowd and that is what Josh did with GrassRoots. I m thankful I gave them another shot.

He didnt call before he visited, as I was told he would. The yard looks bad. Ignoring the dry weather, I have moss in parts of the yard, neighbors centipede taking over my Bermuda, bare areas, eroding areas (due to diminished grass) and no feedback on any course of corrective action.

Grassroots and Kevin have been phenomenal. The yard looks great, and they go above and beyond. I saw Kevin picking weeds in my yard today, and then rang my doorbell just to tell me what he was doing and how to handle some of the winter weeds we have. Grassroots technicians are very respectful and courteous. You always get notified when they are coming in advance so you have time to clean up (pet toys) prior to their arrival. If you dont have time to do the clean up, they do a majority of it for you before performing their work.

Only been with Grass roots for a few months. So far they have done exactly what they said they would. They seem to be a quality company. We are very happy with GrassRoots.

Stay away from them!! They are rude, liars, and expensive! Their products don t do any good to your lawn!! Even the managers also tell lies!

They always tell me what was done to the yard. They will treat any time if I call. Reasonable rates too.

Giant waste of money. They kill your grass, and put down pre-emergent thus giving you more weeds and then come out to kill the weeds while also killing more grass. Look elsewhere. They just want your money.

Grassroots has taken my Bermuda from being thin, lots of weeds and brown, and made it a very lush lawn. They are very collaborative as when I saw particular weeds that were stubborn, they would come back out and treat appropriately. Jeff is our service technician and is very professional and helpful.

Pat has been treating our lawn for a few years. Although we have had struggles due to drainage issues that have recently been resolved, he has always been very thorough in treating our shrubs and what lawn we did have. Very responsive whenever we had any issues as well as his wife Dianna. They are both very knowledgeable about horticulture. Looking forward to having a healthy lawn after putting in sod this year.

Their prices are fair and they re very responsive to callbacks when something isnt quite right. The video recording of the service is a great aspect as well. Montana did a really good job of covering all areas of my shrubs. I asked him about treatment of some weeds that are spreading. He told me to call office and request spot treatment but that may need to wait since overseeing follow up was recently done. May need to wait a bit longer for weed control.

My tech, Kevin came by today and my lawn was completely covered in leaves. He got out his blower and cleaned my yard before doing his scheduled work. Could not be happier with this company and their service

Grassroots is the best weed control company around! Previously, we had grassroots at my rental house and I was very pleased with their service. When we moved, I tried the local company that most of my community used, and that was a big mistake! I called Grassroots on Monday to sign up, two days later they came out for our first lawn treatment! My concern was being aware of their arrival because of our dogs. They texted me the day before treatment and then called me the day of with a hour notice - this company is on top of it. They send you a report of their visit and provide you with helpful tips and recommendations. When we lived at our rental house, I saw a lawn full of weeds turn into a beautiful, weed-free lawn because of grassroots! I am very glad to be a customer again and highly recommend this company to my family, friends, and you! Thank you Grassroots for being such a great, organized company!

I originally left a not so good review based on a few months of service, but my view has changed significantly. Marc is AMAZING! Marc gave me a call to find out what was going on with my lawn, he sent out a Technician, and it was determined what I thought was crabgrass was actually doveweed. Marc gave me a call the next day to explain EVERYTHING on the Technicians (Kevin) report. Marc was very professional and provided some great tips and his opinions on how to get our lawn back and even better than it was before the weed issue. At this point, Grassroots deserves a 5 star. My lawn stress has cut down tremendously after my conversations with Marc. Thanks!

Stuck with them for a year just unfortunately really terrible results. Lawn just looked yellow and unhealthy. Asked them to come out and take a look at the lawn and they supposedly looked at it during their normal visit. Never got any feedback. Left in the beginning of August and switched to a local company and the quality of results is immensely better. Nice people and no issues with the people but the lawn results were poor.

We ve had a really bad experience here. They regularly don t show up when they re scheduled to, and never treat the backyard. We have a fence up but we work from home and can easily open it for them, but they just drive away without notifying us or asking us to open the fence (we have dogs so we can t just leave it open all day, especially since they don t show up when scheduled). We ve had 3 treatments on the front (and 1 on the back) and our yard has not improved at all so unfortunately I can t recommend this company.

I have used Grassroots for several years now. They are by far the best weed maintenance service I have ever used. Their service technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful if I ve ever had questions about specific things regarding my weed control etc. I have recommended them often and everyone who started using them has been pleased as well.

I wish the schedule was a little more exact, but they do what they say theyre going to do and it works. Ive had their service for one season, and theres already so much of a difference in my lawn. Just have patience and trust the process. So far, Im pleased.

Now every now and then you have issues with your lawn, everyone does, but Grassroots is just an email, text or call away to resolve issues. The office staff is alway curtious and willing to help. The technicians are friendly and educated at what they do so any question does not go unanswered. And most importantly the owner John Wise is hands on and engaged with any Customer issues and concerns. I highly recommend this organization as your go to for lawn care and needs, they have been mine for over 17 years.
