My wife and I had a significant landscaping project to replace an existing timber retaining wall that was rotting. We knew it would be a difficult, awkward job on a hill next to a creek involving an engineering plan, Cobb County permits, moving a storage shed, taking down and putting back up an existing fence. Additionally we wanted to add a new retaining wall with stairs on a hill in our front yard. We wanted to make that hill more manageable, while adding a new garden area. We did our research, read a lot of reviews, and got a few quotes. Pricing on the returned quotes was comparable, but Ben with Legion Landscaping returned by far the most detailed quote. During our discussions about the project Ben demonstrated excellent knowledge and explanations of how to get the job done, including the engineering and county permitting process. For these reasons and the many good reviews that we read, we decided to choose Legion Landscaping. They proved to be an excellent choice. The crew was on time daily, communicated well, worked hard, were neat, and accomplished what they said they would daily. Ben always had good suggestions and ideas on how to improve on our original vision for the project, but still completed the job on time and on budget. All that said, we couldn’t be happier with our choice of Legion Landscaping and would highly recommend them to our friends and family. Can't wait for spring to start planting our new garden area!
My husband and I were planning a pretty big landscaping job. We were removing large trees, lots of bushes, pulling up old plants - we wanted a whole new look in the front and the side of our house. We are so glad we found Ben, CJ and the rest of the team at Legion. Because the other landscaping companies we ran into did not work out - they were either unresponsive, unprofessional or just ridiculously expensive. Ben took the time to meet with us and took quality time to find out what we wanted. Then when the work started there was constant communication - you never felt like they just wanted to get the job done so they could move on. They made sure you were satisfied with everything and explained what they were doing and what they were planting (very helpful) we are very satisfied with our new yard and so are all of our neighbors!
I hired Ben and Charles to replace the 20 year old Turf in my backyard due to lack of sunshine. Charles and his crew did a great job and even made sure my irrigation system was up running properly before they left. I would definitely recommend them for your landscape design needs. Our backyard was not useable. It had a very steep slope that was hard to walk up and we never used it. We contacted a few companies and enjoyed our estimate with Ben the best. He had great ideas and was really easy to work with. He helped us pick out stone type and colors and shared good suggestions. The whole crew working was super friendly and even humored my 3 yr old when she wanted to show them her play toolbox. I would highly recommend Legion for any work you need done. They really transformed our backyard.
All done! Words cannot even describe how happy I am. Pictures don't do this justice. It is just beautiful! . Charles was amazing to work with. He listened to us babble on about what we wanted, but couldn't quite articulate. He listened to us, he took our budget into consideration and worked with us, he made adjustments for us as we went along. Every little detail was taken care of. From making sure we had proper drainage to plant placement. . We have a creek at the bottom of the garden which means we have to adhere to laws and regulations. Over the years we'd spoken to a few landscape places and no one else knew anything about what could and could not happen around the creek. Charles was the only one who understood the creek situation. . Charles was more of a perfectionist than we are! His enthusiasm and joy for what he does shows! His crew was fantastic! Polite, hardworking, nice... I loved that they were just as excited about the job as we were! . Thank you Legion Landscaping !
Finding quality landscapers is tough. If you want honest, hardworking, reliable landscapers, then choose Legion. Legion was collaborative and professional during the redesign of our front yard (grading, irrigation, sod, and shrubs). Charles and the team were flexible to our requests while still maintaining the highest quality workmanship. They stand by their work and do it right the first time. Will use them for all of our future landscaping needs.
LEGION LANDSCAPING did a FANTASTIC job on our backyard! They are very honest, meticulous, hardworking and have fair pricing. I’d give them 10 STARS if I could. Ben came up with a great design plan for our unusable sloped backyard. They were very accommodating ever step of the way and didn’t hesitate with changes I suggested. Our project was not easy. Three retaining walls in the wettest winter GA has ever seen. But these guys pushed through! I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work! Plus they are really a nice bunch of guys! Southern gentleman. I am glad it is finished, but I’m going to miss seeing them out there every morning, and who says that about construction! 😂 We finally have the backyard we’ve always wanted! Ben Hofmeister with Legion Landscaping provided an outstanding quote and price for sod installation, including scraping existing grass, adding fill dirt, preparing, grading, delivering one tandem dump truck load of screened topsoil, sod installation, and rolling the sod after installation. I highly recommend Ben for your landscaping projects.
Ben , Charles and the entire team did a excellent job. I had a retaining wall as well as new sod installed and added sprinkler system. I was told when the project would begin and finish. They were true to their word. I would recommend them if anyone was in need of landscaping to be done at a good price. Give them a chance.

Charles and his crew were awesome! He came out quickly for a quote and got it back to me in a timely manner. He was booked up for several weeks and offered to let me know if there were any openings in their schedule and he followed up with that! They came and picked up, delivered and installed plants for our new landscape plane - he even met us at the nursery to help us pick out some specific trees. Highly recommend and we are looking forward to them helping us with our next phase.
My husband and I wanted to replace the cement patio that came with our house with a paver patio surrounded by a garden. We called Legion Landscaping and Ben came out to talk about what we wanted. The design he did for us not only far exceeded what we were thinking about, but he introduced us to the idea of a seating wall, lighting and a border of pavers and designed a combination of flowers, shrubs and trees that made our patio soar beyond what we expected. Throughout the process, owners Ben and Charles kept in touch about when they would be here to do the work. They weren t finished with the job until it met our perfectionist standards as well as theirs! Ben and Charles exceeded our expectations; our patio and garden are absolutely beautiful! Charles and his team just finished a project with me. The were fabulous! Charles arrived with his two crew members and worked alongside them the entire first day. This gave me great confidence. They arrived early and worked with only a short lunch break until quitting time each day. How refreshing! CJ and Mike were the crew members, and I cant say enough about how wonderful these two young men were. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with everything. I would give them 10 stars if I could! I spent a month talking to different landscapers trying to find a good personality fit. I wanted a team that would be excited for the final outcome and make a project their own. One who didnt need a massive $80k project to take me seriously and one who would give me honest feed back to help us design the final outcome, together. They took a rough idea, gave me a sketch of their vision, and turned it into a reality. They worked with me every step away and made sure I was happy with the end product, even if my requests were embarrassingly OCD-ish. Charles managed my project and gave me honest feedback on ideas to ensure the final outcome was practical, but done well aesthetically. They were here on time each morning, worked hard days, and got the project done on time, even with the nasty weather we have been having. If you have any hardscape projects (retaining walls, patios, landscaping etc), I highly recommend getting in touch with them. I will 100% be using them again.
The Legion Team did a beautiful job on our yard and we absolutely love the final outcome. We met with Ben - one of the owners- who right away sounded like he knew what he was talking about. He understood what we wanted and enhanced our ideas with a beautiful design. The layout was elegant and thoughtful. The quote he sent us was professional and clear. The team he brought in to work on the project was always cheerful and hardworking. Ben himself would engage with the project every day and not just give out instructions and leave. I had gotten used to seeing them first thing in the morning and loved watching them turn my sloping backyard into something beautiful and usable. Seriously the nicest people too! The products he used was a good quality and nothing fell short and there were never any shortcuts. The work was does on time and more than met our expectations! I am so impressed with Legion Landscaping; they are professional, dependable, knowledgable, hard working, and a pleasure to do business with. It was a large project and I couldnt be happier. Almost all of my contact was with Charles. He did the design and they landscaped my front yard and the backyard. In addition, sod was installed and several paths were added. The paths were outlined in rock and filled with granite chips all recommended by him. Everthing: bushes, trees, etc. were chosen by Charles. I have never worked with Legion Landscaping, nor had I ever met Charles or Ben, but I trusted my instincts and gave Charles carte blanche and Im so glad I did! I think one of my neighbors summed it up: Your yard is the classiest Ive ever seen! I highly recommend Legion Landscaping and will be using them again this spring!

We had received numerous quotes from five different companies for our back patio, and Legion Landscaping, while not the cheapest, was the best at describing the process, being excellent communicators, and had the hardest working gentlemen I ve ever come across. They were actually much less expensive than some of the more established companies, and provided the best value that we came across. I cannot say enough about the work ethic of these guys. Without fail, they were at our house by 7:00 each morning, and worked 10-12 hour days until the project was complete. What stood apart was they did all the work themselves and did not outsource labor, which made for an absolute excellent outcome. The patio turned out better than anything we could have imagined, and our house looks amazing. The products they used were top notch. They are creative with problem solving when unexpected things popped up during our project, and were extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I honestly cannot recommend Charles, Ben, and Legion Landscaping enough for both landscaping and hardscaping needs. Feel free to get multiple quotes for a project, but I am confident you will not find a better company for your needs.
