Superior Landscaping did a fantastic job doing some work in our yard. They trimmed our shrubs beautifully (including hand trimming the rhododendrons, NOT using a hedge trimmer), cleaned the mulch beds, edged (including trimming the grass around all the edges), and laid down fresh mulch. They also followed thru perfectly when we gave specific instructions of things not to be touched. From the start they were great to work with. Abby got back to us quickly every time we had questions, and the scheduling for the work went really smoothly. It truly was a breath of fresh air to work with someone who actually paid attention to their client and communicated well. Highly recommend them.

Their attention to detail is remarkable: not only do they mow perfectly, leaving no turn marks or scalped patches on our large, uneven lot, but they also do an excellent job trimming around the edges. What sets them apart is their dedication and work ethic. I once saw a crew member start pruning our overgrown pricker bushes while waiting for his coworker to finish up. No one is ever sitting still on the job! They are also incredibly respectful of our kids toys that are sometimes left in the yard. Superior Landscaping has completed two projects for us - a retaining wall and a custom designed fire pit. Each time, we were extremely pleased with the end result. Roberto listened to what we envisioned, and offered helpful, professional advice - which enhanced the end result. Roberto, Abby and Sarah (office manager) always responded quickly to any and all inquiries. Once the project commenced, Roberto would stop by at least once a day to make sure that that work was progressing as planned, and that we did not have any further questions. We recently had Superior Landscape Crew, LLC build a fire pit / patio for us. I cannot sing their praises enough about how lovely the entire experience was from planning to execution!! We had Superior Landscape Crew put in a new front walkway and redo our front steps. Abby and Roberto came out to help with ideas and drew up a design and estimate. They pay a lot of attention to detail and point out things that we never wouldve thought to consider. Their crew does excellent work and spends long days on the job, getting the work done quickly. They did a good job of tidying up the job site at the end of each day. Abby and Sarah kept us informed via email and were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we sent them. We love our new walkway and steps and get many compliments on them. We also use Superior for yard maintenance: spring cleanups, lawn aeration and overseeding, and mulching. They do a very thorough spring cleanup and their aeration is great - it doesnt leave little clumps of extruded dirt everywhere. We highly recommend Superior. Our neighbors liked the job they did for us so much that they hired them to do work on their house.

Superior Landscape is wonderful to work with and always reasonably priced. They have done a range of projects for us, from clean-ups to masonry, and they have always gone above and beyond -- including coming back months after a project was done to help us reinstall some railings that we had repainted. They had already been paid in full, but didnt blink an eye when we told them we were finally ready for this final step. That really says something about integrity.

Couldn t recommend Superior more highly! They were very quick in retuning the estimate, very responsive and receptive to feedback, and their work was terrific. Truly Superior work! Superior recently came out to help us simplify our landscaping (to minimize upkeep) and clear out some overgrowth. They gave us quotes for multiple tiers of options and made several helpful suggestions about what to keep and remove. They made sure to contact Digsafe before doing any removal work (surprisingly, not every landscaper does this even though it s required). They even transplanted certain bushes to help even out the gaps and advised us on how to best maintain the new setup. In the end, we were absolutely thrilled with the results. It really opened up our yard and made it feel so much more spacious and neat. All the work was completed on time and for a very reasonable price. We were dealing with an issue with another contractor at the same time Superior was coming, and there was such a marked contrast in how professional, ethical, and thorough Superior was compared to the other company (not a landscaper). I highly recommend Superior and will definitely use them again!

When our deck was falling apart, we knew we wanted to replace it with a patio. We listened to a bunch of ideas, but only Abby and Roberto truly understood what we were looking for, and how to mitigate the flooding issues in our backyard. They even came out to see the flooding one day before starting the job and during a downpour to make sure they chose the right approach. That may not sound like a big deal, but nobody else did that. Everyone else proposed solutions that would have been money (pardon the pun) down the drain. What s even more reflective of Abby and Roberto is how much they cared about getting it perfect, and then following up to make sure we re still happy (like calling us after the first big rain to see how their system worked, or stopping by to check on us just because they were in the area). Abby, Roberto, and their crew became like family to us. They were not our cheapest quote, but they actually understood what needed to be done and quoted accordingly and appropriately. If we had gone with anyone else and their drainage ideas, we would have spent much more in the long run and our yard still be under water - especially this summer. But instead, we got a patio of our dreams and enjoy it every day! Thanks to everyone at Superior for an incredible job! We had a wonderful experience using Superior Landscaping for our backyard patio project. I highly recommend them! They were very easy to work with and did a perfect job. We had just come off of a horrible experience with another company and we were hiring Superior Landscaping to rip up the other companys work and build our patio properly. Not only did they do a phenomenal job, but they were very respectful and considerate of our budget considering we had just wasted a lot of money with a horrible vendor.

I ve been using Superior Landscape for a year now and there are two glaring differences between them and other companies out there. 1) the communication; they are excellent about keeping you posted with timelines and updates via email. 2) the quality of the work. I ve had other companies do some work for me and it always seems like they re in such a rush to finish and move on to the next house. With Superior, they take their time and do it right. I m very happy with Superior and would recommend them highly.

We had an emergency flooding situation in our yard / against our home, flooding the basement due to collapsed rainwater drains. Roberto and his crew squeezed us into their busy schedule and solved the problem by installing three drains lines ( each over 100 feet long ), put in a retention tank for surface water and regraded part of the property. Much of this had to be done by hand and the crew did it without a compliant but as professionally as one could imagine. The team is a pleasure to have around the home ! Although the result is not like having a beautiful new walkway installed ( which they had previously done for me ) the movement of water away from the house foundation during a rain storm is a wonderful thing !!!!

We have used the Superior crew for years for lawn maintenance, spring cleanups and trimming the shrubs. A couple of years ago we finally began work on some outdoor projects we had been putting off. First they built a custom slate patio for us. I say it is custom because I wanted it to mimic the shape of the pond the patio overlooks rather than be the more usual square or rectangle. They probably thought I was crazy but they did it and we love it. They redirected a downspout in a pipe under the patio so it doesnt pond water. This year they started by supplementing plantings in the front of our house. Then they repaired our large front entrance stairway and put bluestone on it. Then they did the same with the separate front porch and the stairs leading to it. Finally they added railings because the rebuilding of the porch made the dated cast iron railings not fit. They also took care of a drainage issue just off the deck in the back of the house directing it away and downhill. Obviously since we keep coming back we like their work. The crew is always polite and the skilled artisans who do their hardscapes are just that, artisans. We do recommend them without reservation. --

Superior has been involved in the planning and installation of key features on our school grounds, including terraced walkways, stone paths, and big seasonal cleanups. We are so happy with their work and their professional execution, including procuring materials and working within a deadline. They were able to take our vision and create a permanent improvement to the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Weve had the pleasure of using Superior Landscape for over nine years, for a wide variety of outdoor projects. These include fixing a retaining wall, moving septic leach field vents, re-seeding a large portion of the yard that was inhabited by grubs, adding a gravel edge around a newly-constructed four season porch (and moving our irrigation system accordingly), digging an 8 foot trench to prevent foundation water damage, constructing a new cobblestone-lined pathway, re-planting shrubs, and finally regular, weekly lawn maintenance. Abby, Roberto, and their team are extraordinary in every way. Incredibly responsive (which is so rare in their field), diligent, and friendly. Were so glad to be able to support them, and to call them our friends.

They always come on a timely basis to do snowplowing and they take the time to learn about the nuances of our driveway that they need to keep in mind for where to move the snow away from. They always call ahead before coming so we can move our cars out of the driveway before they arrive. They are proactive with communicating with us throughout the year for all of their services. I called Superior Landscape in June, 2022 and someone actually answered the phone! We are extremely happy with the work done by the Crew. So many positives to mention: They came to our house within a couple of days of the initial phone call, they told us when they would put together their proposal and when we should expect it, and they met their promise. When they hadnt heard from us after a reasonable amount of time, they followed up. They worked with us and our landscape architect and between the 3 of us we finalized a plan. They kept us informed about their schedule, stone delivery, and came to the house to make sure deliveries were placed out of the way. The work they did was top-notch and we are delighted with the end results. Very professional, very friendly, very responsive. Over the past 5 years we have used Superior Landscape Crew for all of our yard needs and have been happy with all of their work. They have done things for us from simply mowing the lawn and trimming our fruit trees and bushes to a larger project: replacing our wood deck and old patio pavers with a new stone patio. We used Superior to completely redo some lackluster retaining walls. They installed a gorgeous new patio, retaining walls, and stairs for us. They also took up and relaid an existing patio so that they didnt destroy it while they access the new work, and installed new drainage to address a preexisting water issue in our garage (which hasnt happened since the drainage work!). I was super pleased with the work completed by Superior. I had a fall deep clean to get rid of a few years of leaf accumulation in my woods along the driveway. It looks so much better. I also hired Superior to reseed my lawn. There were vast sections that were dying out and Abby and her crew came in and did a great job laying down top soil and grass seed. I would highly recommend using Superior Landscape Crew for both masonry and landscaping needs. I have used them for both types of jobs for over 10 years and have always been highly satisfied with the quality and professional approach they use for all their work. The masonry work I had done was the construction of a large brick paved parking area, 10 years ago, which was a difficult job due to both tree roots and boulders. They were very helpful in planning the patio, working through lots of ideas and possibilities with me. The patio came out beautifully and the process was professional and well managed. The new retaining walls are so well done that comparing them to the previous walls is eye opening. The craftsmanship in the wall building and the details are excellent. There were lots of drainage issues to contend with, all of which were fixed thoughtfully. Everything came out as planned, looking well put together and adding a beautiful space to the property. Superior lives up to their name. They ripped out our old, crumbling patio and replaced it with a patio that is properly founded, graded and drained, and it looks amazing. They also fixed the drainage problem at the end of the driveway with a long drain framed by handsome cobblestones, a detail Roberto recommended and am now so happy I listened.
