These guys were good! Cheaper than most, and quick to get it done. Plus they include the grinding of the stumps in the price of cutting down the trees.

They did a good job on trimming my trees and trimming/cleaning out my flower beds however during the process they damaged my fence. My only downside is that It was about 2 1/2 months till they got it repaired and then our communications was spotty during the process.

Brads Tree Service was in my neighborhood working at my neighbors house. Asked the owner Brad if he could give me an estimate for my trees. He was more than glad to do this, and gave me a great price. His crew was able to start on my trees after they completed their work at my neighbors the same day. John set up an appointment for a quote. He showed up ON TIME and gave us a VERY reasonable quote to cut down 4 trees, including grinding the stumps, and ground the stumps of 2 other left over trees. The quote request appointment was at 2pm. After giving us the quote, he had a crew of 9 at our house the same day with the work completed by 530pm! Needless to say, we will be using Brads Tree Service for any future needs. Well done!!!

I had significant wind damage over night to a very large tree that caused it to split, endangering my house, and when I called in the morning John was at my house to check for safety and give an estimate within about 10 minutes. They came back and removed the tree in just a couple hours that day. They were professional, fast, courteous, and cleaned up everything. I had trees trimmed and some smaller trees removed previously by them, and he remembered what that had done and even this specific tree to compare to how damaged it was now. We had two dead trees that my husband and son had cut down but still had large stumps above ground; mostly dead crepe myrtle bushes with a mulberry tree taking over, and two very large arborvitae trees that were out of control and partially growing/resting on our garage roof. Brads Tree Service did a great job cleaning all the dead trees out, grinding the stumps, and trimming, pruning, and shaping the arborvitae. The first crew that came got things started but the second crew that came really did an excellent job finishing out. They are friendly folks that do great work at a very fair price. We were very pleased with the service provided by Brad and his crew. John came out this morning and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Brad showed up and said they would be able to do the job today. In about 3 hours they were done. One of our trees was a pine tree that was at least 30+ years old and very large but unfortunately had died. Watching the crew work, we could tell they were all very experienced and knew what they were doing. They cut down one other dead tree and pruned all our other trees, cleaned up the debris, and were done in about 3 hours. After reading the great reviews we hired Brad s tree service to trim up three large trees. Two needed a trim up but one needed some very large limbs cut off along the property line. Brad came out in person to give the quote. He was very knowledgeable and offered advice on the best way to achieve our desired results. The crew came out the next morning and were finished by lunch. Everyone was friendly and professional, and they did an amazing job to include full clean up and haul off. The prices were very reasonable. We plan to use Brad and his crew from here on out!

This company is very honest and fair pricing. They were on time ans professional! They were very carful cutting a tall tree in our backyard, they any statues and decorations in they yard. I don t normally leave bad reviews, but I felt like I need the company to know. I called to get a quote for removing a tree from my front yard. When the guy answered, he was very unprofessional. Didn t say anything about the business, just his name. When I told him I was calling around to get an idea for how much it might cost, he told me to go ahead and call other people, he didn t want my business. I only need one tree right now, but I have four more in the back that will need attention soon, and he didn t even take the time to talk to me. Seems like they do decent work, but I wasn t even given the opportunity to find out.

Brad was very prompt. I called to get a quote and within 10 mins he was at my door and gave me a quote. Brad was professional and had his crew on site within 45 min. His crew did a great job of getting all of those pesky volunteer trees, trimming a tree that was growing into wires, and removing a part of a tree that had fallen down. Cant thank him enough as my back yard looks so much better than it did. He also communicated everything he and his crew were doing. Definitely recommend.

Brads tree service was an excellent choice for my family. I had several jobs for them to do. Involving tree removal, stump grinding, and cutting firewood for me to keep. Brads crew was amazing. He gave me a quote HALF the price that the other tree services did.He did such a good job the neighbor came over and asked for his card! I will for sure be passing his card on to anyone that says the need trees removed or trimmed.

Got an estimate, and within the same day they were chopping the top off the tree!! The tree was dead and a part of it was hanging over a powerline. They handled it with ease and knew what to do. Affordable pricing and very nice crew. Would recommend to anyone needing their tree cut. They stacked our wood too which was very nice. Another company wanted to remove part of our fence to bring equipment in, but they didnt have to do any of that.

Brad s Tree Service did a fantastic job trimming our trees and removing shrubs at our home. Honestly, I thought there was a miscommunication concerning the quote when Brad told me how much it would be for our property but the value of the job was every bit worth it. Based on what we had been quoted from other companies in Abilene, Brad s Tree Service did double the amount of trimming for half the price.

Brad came and gave me a quote the day I called and the crew showed up next morning on time and went to work. Made my home look amazing!

This company did a good job of removing a large silver maple in my back yard, but the job was supposed to be finished that day but they ran out of time. Brad said they would be back Saturday to finish, but nobody showed up. I had to call several times and they finally came back, but then the stump grinder broke, so it took another week. I made the mistake of paying him before the work was finished. My mistake. He did offer to give me 200 off the price for taking so long, which was nice, but I told him no I just wanted to get it finished. Also he was much cheaper than Thornton s tree service.

I couldnt get over how much better my property looked after Brad and his crew came and took care of trimming up all the trees. Workers were polite, hard-working, and focused on getting the job done. In LESS than 24 hours, I got a text back promptly, a visit, a quote, and he had a crew ready to go in an hour. Highly recommend!

After trying for months to get my lawn cleaned up and get rid of all the ugly trees left behind from previous owners Brads came to the rescue with great prices and nice hard working people.

We were given a quote and then work began the next day. They did a great job trimming the large tree in our front yard and removing stumps for us. Make sure to keep open communication because they almost let one tree that they said that they were going to remove. When we brought it to their attention it was taken care of. Overall, great experience.

We asked Brads Tree Service to do a big job for us and Brad delivered in a very professional manner. We had five 60 foot trees that needed to come down. However, they needed to come down within a space of about 20 feet and avoid three giant plate glass windows in the process. On the other side of the patio sat a $4,000 fountain. So...it was tight quarters and the trees were gigantic. Down they came with nothing broken. Brad handled a contrarian neighbor with finesse and professionalism. We greatly appreciated that. In addition, his workers were very friendly and accommodating to us. We appreciated that they were very safety conscious - always wearing helmets, gloves and protective eye wear. I mention this because it is dangerous work and no one wants a worker injured on their property. Whether your situation is as difficult as ours, or just a walk in the park, I Brads tree service can take care of you.

I found a buried stump under deeper down in the hole they left 2 months ago. Came right out removed the rest. No charge. The guys were happy to please. Will use them again if I need. I highly recommend them.

They came out to do a quote and were very professional and friendly. The next day they started work and even helped us clear our backyard of patio furniture. Talked again with my father before they started to make sure of what we wanted. They worked quickly and were able to get all the cutting done within a few hours. The clean up crew that came were amazing! Not only didnt they get all the limbs cleared out but even raked our backyard to get all the small pieces. Highly recommend and we will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Brads Tree Service did a clean job of taking down my tree and removing its stump. This is the second tree I have had them remove for me, and they have done great both times. Their prices are reasonable within the market, and I would recommend them to others as a professional service.

Called for a quote on landscaping. It was a short call because Brad wasn t in the landscaping business, he was in the tree business (even though google says Brad s tree service AND LANDSCAPING ). Anyways he hung up before I could even tell him I m needing to plant and remove a bunch of trees.

Brads Tree Service did another great job on the live oaks this time at my rental. These trees are so big and thick the grass couldnt grow. They thinned them so sunlight can get through, raised the canopy, cut limbs then sized the limbs for firewood. They brought the firewood to my house, stacked it. The yard was cleared of leaves even cleaned off my neighbors driveway. This summer we had them grind several stumps, trim trees and remove some scrubs at our house too.

When the crew arrived to remove my tree, the job was completed in about an hour and a half. Three days ago I had a big limb fall in my back yard where my daughter loves to play. I called Brad and the next day he had a team here clearing my trees and making sure all the other limbs were safe. They were fast, affordable and cleaned up the yard so nice. I d highly recommend them.

Brads Tree Service was out doing our neighbors yard this morning. They offered a free quote and immediately starting our trees after they finished the neighbors. Very quick service. I think it took only 1 hour for 3 very large trees. Cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. Highly recommend!!!

I was very impressed with this company. Brad came out and made the bid, which I felt was reasonable for the work to be done and his crew came out the same day to do the job. The two employees that worked that afternoon, one was his son, were excellent. They were tree climbers and handled all phases of the job professionally with an emphasis on safety. They were always courteous when talking to me and answering my questions as well as being courteous to each other, which is not always the case with work crews. They were very cautious when cutting the larger limbs, being mindful of their own safety and also tying off the limbs and lowering them down so as to not do any damage. I was very pleased. I will definitely use Brad s Tree Service again.

His workers made a fast removal and cleanup of the tree, they had to come back to grind the stump on another day. I have very large trees in the front yard that were in need of some major trimming. I called Brads for a quote in the morning and they came within an hour and gave us a quote for about what I was expecting. Three guys came the next morning, brought the proper equipment, were very professional, and they worked hard for about 2 1/2 hours. When they were finished, they left me with firewood cut from my own trees, they had done what I asked them to do plus they cleaned out a lot of dead branches that was above and beyond. The trees look great and everything was picked up and gone before noon. I will be glad to use them again.

I got a quote from Brad for a cord of oak delivered and it was $150 for a cord and $50 for delivery. He was supposed to come on Friday but never showed. My wife texted him and he came the following Wednesday 2 hours after he said he would. Before he came he said it would be $225 not the $200 he quoted. I tried to call but he didn t return my call. When he showed up my wife was home alone and didn t feel comfortable talking to him about why the price changed. When I got home I saw what he delivered it was maybe half a cord. The next day I called and he said he would bring more wood. He no showed me two times on bringing me more wood. Save yourself the trouble and use someone else.

I had scheduled Brad s Tree Service to cut down some very large, dead trees on my property. He and his workers showed up promptly at the scheduled time. Brad gave me a reasonable quote to cut down the trees, grind the stumps and haul away everything. Very pleased with finished product.

Brad and his crew did an excellent job on my grandmothers yard. I orginally made contact with Brad and he came right out i was surprised at how quick he responded yet very pleased with the quote. Even moreso when it came down a considerable amount when my grandmother introduced herself as the homeowner and she did indeed get her discount. 2 thumbs up for that! The limbs they removed were hanging dangerously above her home and we feared they would snap and come down on top of her house. Website says they provide all sorts of landscaping services... Called for a quote for lawn care and the response I got was oh no, we only do tree trimming.

I had a previous issue but after brad had personally came here to clear up any miscommunication on their end the issue has been Resolved. That shows that he cares enough to deliver some customer service and satisfaction.

I had several people come out and give me quotes for work on some trees and bushes. Brads was the most reasonable, and I was surprised by how knowledgeable Rick was on the subject, and he told me exactly he was going to do to the trees-get all the dead branches out, and trim our bushes in the back to the same height. Originally I wasnt going to go with this company because of the reviews I had read. Rick the guy who came out and gave me the quote gave me hope that they would actually do a good job. I had a few other people come and give me quotes the next day, and called Rick back to come do the job. Rick didnt answer so I called Brad. Brad seemed flustered, and couldnt get a hold of anyone to do the job. Instead of just telling me he couldnt do the job that day he continued to try and find someone. I had been quoted a before Thanksgiving price and and after Thanksgiving price. The before Thanksgiving price was much better, so I thought if I could get it done sooner and cheaper better for me. WRONG. I have no idea where Brad hired the people to do the job, but they were not tree cutting people. Brad had no idea what was supposed to be done to my trees or bushes, neither did the people he hired, he also didnt know what price I had been quoted. Had I known that they had no idea what they were doing I would have hired someone else. They had to leave and get some tool they didnt know they needed. They also did not bring a ladder, and subsequently left before they were done. They said they would return to finish they next day. The only thing Brad showed up for was to try and figure out what needed done to the trees and bushes, and the money. He did not care what kind of job was completed and he still has not called me back to remedy the issue. Do yourself a favor and use someone else. Update: Brad came back to try and remedy the situation. His only requirement was that I change the review. I told him I would give it some thought, and that I was not comfortable removing the whole review as it had taken him 3 weeks to get back to me and the only reason he did was because of this review. He was not happy with that response. He told me he would take legal action if I did not remove my review.

RATED F BY THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU: Check with the BBB, he has 6-7 complaints against him and has refused to work with them to resolve the complaints. Brad took several days to partially complete the job and wanted me to wire money to him. I was out of town and not able to see job for a couple of weeks, the work was not completed or as agreed. He said he would come back to finish, he did most of the work but did not grind the stumps as agreed. I have worked with him for about 6 months to get the work done still not complete even after several promises to do so. He will not return phone calls or answer the phone when I call. I would not recommend him to do any work. AMENDMENT March 25, 2014: After being contacted by the Better Business Bureau in February, Brad completed the job as agreed. He said that there was miscommunication between himself and his crew and was very apologetic that the work was not completed to my satisfaction or in a timely manner.

Brad and his team of workers did an amazing job on my yard. I had a total of five trees (3 very large trees and 2 small trees). During the walk through, I explained to Brad that I just wanted to trim the large trees and to completely remove the two smaller trees. He took note and repeated everything I said. He did notice some dead branches that he felt would be best to remove as well for safety issues. Brad and his team did the job as expected and then some. They made sure that every branch was picked up and removed from my yard, and even helped replace the yard furniture back in its place. I decide to give his service a 5 star rating based on the fact that he was precise to sticking to our agreement, the job was started and completed in a prompt and timely manner, and the fact that they help me put my patio/yard furniture back in place really showed me his level of professionalism. I have recommended him to several friends since and they all have given me positive feedback on a job well done. I will continue to recommend his services. Thank you Brad and team. =)

It has come to my attention that a certain individual is bad mouthing Brads Tree Service without merit. This person had a few minor issues which have been resolved yet he still leaves negative comments about this company. He should be made aware that Brads Tree Service is a well respected company who thinks first and foremost about the customer and the customers needs versus just dollars spent. This individual made allegations against this company and sent them to the BBB, the issue has been resolved but the individual simply stuck in a very small blurb below his negative review instead of deleting said review. Brads Tree Service is an excellent company based on a reputation of honesty and integrity and character, for these reasons I have recommended and even marketed this company to many others who have found it to be excellent as well, why an individual would deliberately denigrate a company is quite beyond me; especially when the incident happened when the owner was out of town; that being said when the owner returned he did everything within his power to remedy the issue(s) brought to bear. This sort of negativity can destroy a small company that is well respected and who does more for the money than any other service in the Abilene area and that is why they are well respected. Customer service and satisfaction is what this company has built its reputation on and still does. I can sum up what this individual Bruce has said in one word; MALARKY. He continued to call the tree service complaining no matter what they did to rectify the problem, left a negative review that was based on little or no merit and should be considered by the public at large as simply what it is/was, a bid for free services. Additionally even after the problem was resolved to the satisfaction of the customer named above he has not to date removed his review, I find this to be appalling in the extreme. Brads tree service puts its customers first and foremost and always has so if you want excellent, personal service then call Brads Tree Service, you wont be disappointed.

After a recent storm Brads Tree Service came and removed a lot of debris and fallen tree limbs that had been scattered and broken by high winds. They were fast, efficient, very thorough, and the price well surprisingly in my budget compared to some of the other services I had called . Everything we had agreed upon was done and done to the letter without question. It was enlightening to see that there are still people out there with good work ethics. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree removal or landscaping.
